Today's Blessings
 

I had many blessing today....including....

A wonderful Sunday school class full of energy from our young Vicar

Awesome soup we brought home for lunch made from the turkey dinner at the fall bazaar yesterday

Angie and I hung up a tapestry with out disagreeing on location ;)...she is short...I am tall...we "see" the height of things different :)

Nephew called and still has $$$ in his account :carrot:

wonderful weather the last 3 days-actually had to mow the lawn today, which is very unusual for us to have to do that in November!

Excellent church today

Got to spend some nice quiet time with DH today, just sitting on the swing and enjoying the sun!

Just knowing that God gave me another day...is a Blessing to me...

everyday is a blessing!!

Spending the entire day, which was a glorious fall day, with my sweetie. We had lunch at Panera, went to a couple of open houses, went to Barnes-n-Noble for some new books, to Pier One where I got a new snowman for my collection, and then coffee at Starbucks. I made a great dinner and am sitting here tired and happy.

My hubby put up new outside lights today...fell off the ladder and broke our fence....here is the "blessing"....I hated that damn fence...now its gone.:)

I had a lot of blessings today...

I woke up!

Walked the dogs for 4 miles in nice weather.

Made a salad to go with leftover turkey soup for dinner.

Son called to see what time I need him here Thursday...he has to babysit me for a few hours while Angie teaches yoga at church.

Didn't get one bill in the mail....

I hope you all were blessed today!

Son came home over the weekend. He is on track to graduate from college next spring. Didn't bring any dirty laundry home.

Easy day at work today.

Beautiful weather forecast this week.

My dogs were happy to see me after work.

Leftovers in fridge tonight, Didn't have to cook dinner.

Paid all my bills and still have $$$ in bank.

Had the computer all to myself tonight.

Got my checkbook all up to date.

It was a good day for a Monday! :D

We had our first snow a few days ago (it had been too cold to snow)- so it seems to have warmed up a lot.

We got our snow tires/studs put on just in time to have a safe car for the winter!

I don't have to go to work until 5 pm, which gives me several hours to do homework as soon as I stop procrastinating on 3FC :)

The boyfriend made coffee for me before he left for work this morning - and surprised me with English toffee creamer because I'd been homesick for England lately! SUPER nice of him! It's a good day!

Talked to my sister a half hour ago....doing ok from her chemo treatment this week.

Angie off to yoga.

Salad for dinner with chicken and veggies already to go.

Picked up niece at high school....made her laugh all the way home!

Had a nice 3.5 mile walk with the mutts.

Hospital called to go over final details for my surgery on Thursday.

Gee, how did I miss this great thread; you snuck this in there and I guess it got buried and resurrected -- yeah ... just like JESUS! ;)

-- yesterday, we had a nice drive out to our lot/camper, and had a nice walk and talk with a nice neighbour ...

-- we went for a lovely drive to a favorite lake today and it was beautiful ...

-- thankful ANNIE, Uncle TOM, Bargoo, and Ronnie's Dad all feel well after their treatments ...

-- all my family are well again; everyone is on the mend; thanks for prayers ...

-- we had a lovely day today ...

-- we are very blessed and very thankful and grateful to GOD for that!!!

had a nice walk this morning, 4 miles, along the beach with Angie and the dogs....then breakfast at the beach cafe...

Yesterday, a couple of :angel:s brought us a present ~ they went and picked some veggies at a local farmers (more :angel:s) and brought us a big box of large carrots -- I'm sure there is enuff for all winter!

So I washed some of them up today; and we had some for dinner, and I am putting some up in the freezer, and a few in the crisper too, and some are in our temporary cold room (our porch). What a great blessing this was ... may GOD bless them all in return ... :D

Feeling much better today!

Angie brought home a spaghetti squash I think I will have the energy to use in a new vegetarian dish I want to make tomorrow.

Still getting phone calls and visits but slowing down as I heal...giving me more rest...wink

Saw my daughter in law several times on TV cheering for the Chargers today

A friend came to visit I haven't seen for several months

Feeling no worse today

Cooking a spaghetti squash for the first time

Gorgeous weather

Son and daughter and sister both called me today

Angie is getting a break from "nursing"

Lots of blessings here this morning, too.
I woke up.
I get to spend the day doing a job I love.
I've got a loving husband, plenty of food and a warm home to come home to after work.
And no matter what happens during the day, God is in control. :)

I had many blessings yesterday ~

My sister, and her mil...who I am close to, came over and spent most of the day with me

My dil called to say her pain was minor and she was able to get along OK at school with help from the high school boys...wink

My daughter e-mailed me a thank-you for a story I e-mailed her on Stephen Curtis Chapman about the death of his daughter that we followed

Dogs are keeping their barking at neighbors going by to a minimum....OK...so I lie....

Praise Him!

Knucklehead nephew called and said he bought a George Foreman grill....going to start cooking in his room instead of fast food-ing so much!! YIPEE! We went over a few things on cooking meat, freezing portions and defrosting....buying zip-locks and other containers for leftovers and eating BALANCED and not just meat...the NAVY has their hands full with him but he is coming along...wink

Today I feel so blessed...

-a warm fuzzy feeling about life
-seeing the scale say 249.8
-being able to choose NO FAT dressing for my salad tonight
-having a wonderful personal assistant that has allowed me the ability to work from home

* I can count the hours until my daughter arrives home from Houston and the days until my son and my parents get here - we'll all be together for one last Thanksgiving with my Dad.

* No matter what happens I have the assurance that God is in control.

Yesterday Angie and I were able to have Thanksgiving dinner with about 20 of America's finest Marines...

in a church of our choice...

Thank God for our troops and for keeping our free countries FREE!

Plenty of food, a warm/dry home and a family that loves me.

Simple-That I am warm and have a place indoors to stay dry and warm from the bitter weather.

The 2nd termite inspection guy was almost in agreement with the guy yesterday...

expensive but we knew that coming in...

son called and daughter in law is in the finlas for Charger Girl to go to the Pro Bowl....

daughter called and is safe (with sil) in dorm room of step-daughter in New York...

He is Our Savior!

I woke up healthy and content.
I've got a full day planned and plenty to do to keep my mind off hard things.
My God is in control.

Oh Gary I love this! I have so much to be thankful for. I just don't know where to start! I will start with 5.
1. That Jesus catches me when I stump my toe and helps me get started again.
2. Living in America and living in the big state of Texas! Yeah! Texas!!!
3. Living on a ranch with all my animals that keep me entertained.
4. My wonderful husband!
5. My wonderful daughter ,grandchildren and son-in-law!
I think you might see me here quite often!
