HI LADIES ~

I just got back home, from working out of town, a few hours ago. I have been gone 15 0f the last 16 days :( I leave Monday for more of it! OUCH! But, seriously, I am thankful for the work :), there are many out of work right now in construction.

I celebrated my 54th birthday on Wednesday ~ I had 2 Banquet chicken dinners in my hotel room, cooked on the microwave! We had a tough day at work, my brother in one room next to me and my brother in law on the other side wanted to take me out....they really didn't feel up to it either! It was a nice gesture but we just stopped by the Ralph's and picked up TV dinners on our way back to the hotel from work. My kids and Angie had called to give me wishes...it was a blessed birthday indeed!

I haven't really had time to catch up yet...maybe this week-end, although it will be busy. but I did notice ELTIGRE'S JOY!!! AWESOME!

I am listening to a CD I just opened from a group Carpenters Tools ~ awesome! I received it in the mail because of past contributions to their ministry. They have come to our church several times over the years, young people spreading THE WORD! Thanks be to GOD! :)

Our Vicar at church is a martial arts pro, he is coming over on Saturday night, after Saturday service, to watch The Ultimate Fighting Championship with my son and I and about 10 of his friends...should be a blast...the women don't watch but us guys love it!

Sunday we have our kick-off and commitment to our new building. Angie has already presented our commitment, two weeks ago when I was gone, at an "invitation" service for "regular" givers ~ a way to jump start the fundraising. We had about one and a half million pledged that night...so looking forward to the new community center. Angie is already trying to figure out how pay for her lessons so she can teach yoga in the new building when it is built ~ her "dream" :)

:wave: We have been blessed with more sunshine, and a very light sprinkle of snow, that just looked pretty. Our temps have been milder that last couple of days, so I got in some more SKI-WALKING; went a bit further this time, but had sore legs today. We went to town, did our errands, and picked up some groceries; so put in some walking again today.

SHY ~ off on another trip; not sure where you are going, but hope it's somewhere good and fun!!!

ELTIGRE ~ glad for you that you accomplished something that was important for you ...

WILMA ~ lots of people like biking for strengthening their legs; in time, they will get used to it more.

COUNTING ~ thanks to you and everyone else for their prayers; we are very happy with the good news too.
