My cold has come back again. I'm short of breath and coughing. So we're just laying low today.

Rosebud: The crustless pizza uses ground turkey as the crust. It was quite good although I reacted to the bacon on it. It's been so long since I've had it that my system reacted really badly to it. I will make it again though. I'll get the recipe to you if you're interested.

HI GALS

It has been a busy week and week-end here. I am "maintaining" somewhat with the weight...I seem to keep going from 171-174 ...back and forth. I am dreading the scale tomorrow Angie and I went out for dinner ~ date night ~ on Friday at Elephant bar... I had a salmon, rice and veggies...then on Saturday we went to P.F. Chang's (after buying some new shelving at Container Store) for lunch...we met my daughter and son in law there...I had lettuce wraps and soup...then nibbled on their leftovers...Saturday night was one of my nieces's baptism at our church so we went for Mexican food afterwards...I spilt a 2 taco 1 enchilada plate with Angie...so I am doing WAY better with my portions!! Now...if I could slow those beer calories down a bit...

I spent most of today doing easy chores around the house and putting up the shelves Angie wanted. Amazing how long it can take to do absolutely NOTHING! between grocery shopping, playing with the dogs, phone calls from the kids, laundry, pushing extra rain water around the yard, cleaning out my lunch box, vacumning, watching the Buick Open and Laker game at the same time

I mentioned our prayer vigil was very exciting. Our numbers were high, but keep in mind ladies that it does include our school kids which is around 200! Still all in all for our first one ever it was really special!

WILMA ~I am sorry you don't feel well. I see your niece is still with you, I hope that is a big bonus for you! I hope the weather continues to be nice for you, we are getting a lot of needed rain here in southern California.

HELLO EVERYONE ~ had a good, but very busy day; I can fill my day in just the same way GARY does, a gazillion little things ~ lol! Made that turkey and Dh helped me a bit this time; as SWEETIE needs a little extra attention right now: timing is terrible.

COUNTING ~ glad you got those skis out; I used to go cross-country (was part of my gym class in college); and was surprised how much I liked it, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Now becuz of the problems with my legs, I just do the SKI-WALKING, which does give a full-body workout.

I finally figured out how to downsize my pics; and as you can see here is one of SWEETIE (she's white), PIN PIN (beige), my skinny Dh, and the Christmas lights. Now, I know that it looks like some of the bulbs are out, but they're not; some of them were really dark red bulbs from a different batch and Dh didn't feel like going up and changing them. They didn't show up well in a picture taken at night.

Later on, I'll post some more pics of the snow and my feeders and so on, as I become more adept at taking them. If you want to see a picture of me, just click on my moniker and select VIEW PROFILE, and there I am. It's just a portrait I took of myself the other day; so, I'm learning.

I was a stick in the mud even back then. I stopped dateing him because he wouldn't keep his hands to himself lol.

No, same rate Counting, except this week bet that means my official weigh in this coming Wednesday will show no extra weight loss. Sometimes just how it works. I lose it all the first week or some in the second week. Very seldom do I lose more than 2lbs every two weeks. We are watching tv tonight. Chat with you all later.

Just checking in after work ~ I just got pork chops, stuffed with spinach and feta cheese, ready to pop in the oven....waiting for Angie to get home from yoga.

Hi every one just a quick hello hope all is well for every one , It is a warm sunny winter day so will be able to get in a quick walk with my furry child (the black lab) and I have to shovel out the sand pile we are suppose to get freezing rain tonight and when we get that it makes my drive way which is a hill very slippery so I will get my exercise part in.

Hi all, hope you had a wonderful Tuesday! We closed school again because of the ice. Now we have a blizzard warning for tonight! I'm may be posting sporadically the next few days - I will be at a technology conference in the Detroit area. I'm assuming I will have Internet, so I should be able to check in.

Rena - I hope that the freezing rain misses you - I hate freezing rain. Stay warm, and dry and safe

Shy - wow - I haven't watched one movie in several years - let alone a whole list! Sounds like it was a fun weekend though!

Rosebud - great pictures! The dogs are so cute . Sweetie has such and adorable face. Just makes you want to snuggle right down with her, I bet!

Gary - sounds like you have had quite the time eating wonderful things. AND - you are maintaining as well! Way to go!!! I'm hoping I have a similar experience maintaining, once I get there of course DH watched Tiger too - golf is about the only thing that we turn our tv on for.

It was a great weekend. We have decided unless we have something we really have to do. That is what we are going to do every weekend until it is nice enough to be outside again. Then we go back to walking around little towns and walking though parks.

HELLO EVERYONE ~ had a good day; been a bit tired. Had a nap and didn't wake up 'til 7 pm; so had a late dinner. Dh says that it's really slippery out there, so I just stayed in today.

GARY ~ thanks for the recipe link; could have some fun lurking around that site. Thanks, we often call the girls, CUTE AND PRETTY CUTE ~ LOL!

COUNTING ~ every day when I have my nap in my big comforter, SWEETIE lies right on top of my belly; that is, until it gets too hot for her and she has to get down and sprawl out on the floor where it is cooler. Dh always kids me that my body is like a furnace ... LOL!

SHY ~ I couldn't watch that many movies either; when I was younger I could. I love the old classics and family comedies the best; Dh likes to watch movies and does every day. I come on here or read, or do some other thing that I like.

RENA ~ We have rain here too; I don't like that becuz as soon as the temp falls, that means ice and I'm stayin' indoors. They are calling for some snow and colder temps for later in the week. Hope so, cuz our WINTERLUDE starts this Friday ...

RE UPDATE UNCLE TOM ~ My uncle went to the city to have his connector tube installed; they are supposed to go to start the Chemo tomorrow; Aunt asks for prayers that all goes well. Thanks.

UPDATE ON SWEETIE ~ WARNING: A TAD YUCKY; don't eat while reading this! That tumor/lump on her abdomen has started to leak like an abcess, so it's getting smaller. I had to make some diapies from an old flannel sheet and they are working well. It's been a little hectic running around trying to change her every 1-2 hours (seems to be slowing down a bit today though). Now, we just hope that once it finished draining that it will heal up well. Thanks for all your prayers!

I did get the ironing done and sewing done. I am working on a hook rug and some embroidery for Christmas presents so I got a lot of work done on those also while we watched.
