Ember days this week Wed, Fri, and Sat
On the old liturgical calendar, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are Embertide days. In anticipation of the Feast of St. Micheal on the last Saturday of the month.
I'm going to observe the days with partial fasting and prayer... just thought I'd mention it to you folks. I think the old traditions of Christianity have some beautiful reminders of how not to take our health and abundance for granted.
