Question Boxing Class Today

I am taking a new boxing class tonight and want to know if you all think I should go ahead and do my weight lifting over lunch. I normally do cardio and w/t on the same day, but this class has me worring a little bit. It is a 60 minute class that has different stations heavy bag, speed bag, upcut bag, jump rope etc.... and you do each station for 3 minutes min then rest for 1 min just like a real boxing match. From what I heard it is pretty intense and I don't want my muscles to be fatigued from the w/t.

What do you all think?

I've been training for 2 hours on Thursday nights for 2 years+, and I've only just managed to do weight training at lunch time as well as the intense session on the evening.

My advice is stick to the class, it's pretty intense, so you'll get plenty of exercise. And some boxing stuff is resistance work, so don't feel like you're skipping too much!

My arms are usually pretty sore after a boxing class - I'd skip it today and then you can gauge how you feel for next time.

Well I skipped thetworkout and went to the store and got new weight lifting gloves. Was wondering what weight boxing gloves you use. The store had some 12oz gloves. Is that the normal weight?
