Default The music at my local Curves...

is so bad.

I wonder if it would be OK to take a CD player or MP3 player? Good music motivates me. I would get into the workout so much more if there was music I liked.

The problem is, then you couldn't hear when the prompt goes to change stations, or to stop and take pulse. Besides, it would kind of mess with the community atmosphere of Curves...

Hi candace.gail,
I know EXACTLY what you mean.
I made it to my 100th workout at Curves
and then I had to move on because the music
was so repetitive and unmotivating.
In fact, it was to the point I would go during
non peak periods and ask them to play specific
CD's I enjoyed most. A group of us were going to
chip in and buy new CD's for the owner.

Maybe try my tip if possible. It doesn't hurt to ask.
