Will be a quieter day today. DD's softball game is away and I didn't want to drive over an hour each way, so we're not going. DS will be asking to go to the pool, I'm quite sure. I'll get a workout in and putz around the house.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Michele

Hi everyone

Just to let you know that I have decided to drop out of this challenge for now. It has been wonderful for me and so helpful to get me out there moving and getting off some of my weight. But lately I have been doing more and more of other kinds of exercise and keeping track of minutes, etc., and kind of want to focus more on water aerobics and other stuff. Thanks for all your encouragement and support!!! Happy walking!

I've been thinking the same thing. I prefer to track my miles of fitness walking and minutes of cardio rather than steps. And 4 websites to post daily on is getting to be TIME-CONSUMING!

Good luck to you all!

Unfortunately, I've got a lot going on bewtween work and family life, that combined with my unreliable computer, means that I haven't been able to keep up with tracking the miles. So I will bow out.

I want to thank everyone for coming along for the walk. It seems to have helped a lot of people, including me, get or stay more consistent with exercising. I do hope someone may want to take on the duty of tracking the miles and if so I'll be reporting mine. If not, it's been a good walk, thanks for joining us.

Hi... just wondering if anyone is still planning to do the Coast to Coast challenge. If not, we need to email the moderators to close the threads and to remove the sticky from the forum. I will check back here in a week and if there are no responses, will close the thread.

Thanks to all who have participated... good job!

It's up to the rest of you....I can continue or stop. One thing that I might suggest is that we actually count 15 minutes of exercise as a mile rather than just 1 mile walking. this would allow people to post for more of a variety of activies.

Actually I would come back in if we did that... as long as there was someone to help with keeping score and mileage. I don't mind doing it in "shifts" but it gets to be too much doing it all the time.
