Man where have I been? I think I've been hiding. ;) Actually, I've been involved with my new hobby. Digiscrapping. I have been busy downloading tons and tons of stuff for it. Oh and making some things too. Here are my miles for the last few days.

Today was the first day in months that i went to the gym.I normally just work out at my home gym. I used to get really nervous working out in a gym setting..thinking everyone was staring at me.. now that i've dropped a few pounds, i've gained some confidence, yay :)! Also, i now have a workout buddy!!! My friend is home from college for the summer so we are pushing each other to work harder. Tonight was the first night we worked out together. (She runs 5miles + a day, lifts weights, etc, shes really in shape! I figure if i keep working out with her i might pick up some of her good habits ;) )

I didn't walk much today as I have twisted my knee and just couldn't walk. But it was a super on my feet day at work -- also forgot my pedometer so am estimating... but conservative estimate is Date: 6/13 Miles: 3 |

Miles: 3 TOTAL: 449.9 Not a good day. I sat in class for 8 hours, drove the 40 minutes home and then sat at DD's softball game for 2 more hours. Then it was a late supper (pizza :no:). By then it was bedtime, where I crashed and was asleep in 20 minutes! Today is a new day and my class is over. All I have to worry abut now is exercise and cleaning the house. Have a nice day! Miles for that time: 2.05 miles Total number of steps/miles, to date in the challenge: 152 miles Went to the mall to look for a "goal" dress. Didn't find one, but I did find a cute bra! I love getting these cute, contrast-threaded, lacey bras because it makes me feel sexy even if nobody else thinks I am :P It's like, "I have a secret... and you'll never know!" Or something. Anyway! It was on sale; only $10! Who can pass up a comfortable, cute, $10 bra? Today hasn't been too fun. I was feeling better today than I was yesterday... until I almost passed out a few minutes before my shift was up. I was getting ready to wash my hands and I got all of my normal symptoms for "I'm about to pass out". I sat down for a few minutes, then went home. I'm still feeling a bit weak. I'm going to eat something soon to try and boost my energy, 'cause I really don't feel well. |

My little mini goal is to get in at least 3.9 more miles before we reach Seattle.. so I can say I did 150 miles of this trip. Quite doable unless we get there sometime tonight... um.. is that going to happen? How close are we now anyway? Perhaps I should get back on the mill and do 4 miles right now.. um.. I think I will take the risk and wait till tomorrow. hehe.. |

Miles: 3.6 TOTAL: 453.5 I'm not contributing much lately. I can't explain it. I've always known that it's harder for me to get the steps in at home, but I'm being really lazy lately. I have to find a way to get back to at least 10000 steps a day. Guess I'll have to step away from the computer and use it as a reward. Have a good one! Michele :wave: |
Michele, hang in there. I think we all have "down" times. But just contribute what you can and are comfortable with... we certainly do have to avoid being on the computer so much that we don't get in our exercise!
