After walking to and from the farmer's market this morning, came home and did my 35 min rebounder cardio, 40 minutes of stability/resistance, and 100 crunches.

Still due to complete my 200 jumping jacks (who knew how HARD these would be??)

srmb60 05-06-2006 07:34 PM

40 minutes today. It took afew minutes to get my HR up but once it was about 112, I was good to go.
I also got around to the math. I found a tracker for that. It's kinda fun :)

mandalinn82 05-07-2006 08:29 PM

Did something a little different today - went to a lake, rented a paddleboat, and paddled my butt off for an hour and a half. I am counting this as a cardio and a leg workout, because let me tell you, I was feeling the burn...

Gorgeous, though. Beautiful, sunny day. Glad I remembered the sunscreen!

mandalinn82 05-08-2006 11:40 AM

Done - stability, cardio rebounder, and crunches.

Probably will do an arm workout on my lunch.

Manda -- The pedal boat sounds like fun...

Today I biked around then to the gym, visited my mom too... for a total of 12k...

Tonight I just may go biking again... It's just so gorgeous here...

harrypotterybarn 05-08-2006 11:24 PM

1 hour spinning class followed by BodyPUMP. That's one spin class down for the week, 4 more to go :)

3fcuser1058250 05-08-2006 11:26 PM

Biked another 15k tonight with my g/f... for a total of 27k...

mandalinn82 05-09-2006 11:28 AM

Cardio and Stability this morning, plus crunches - done.

5,000 of my 10,000 steps - done.

Arm workout that I failed to do yesterday I will do today on my lunch. Ran out of time - not beating myself up over it, but it WILL get done today.

sotypical 05-09-2006 12:19 PM

opps haven't been here for a couple days, but I have been getting in lots of exercise!! woohoo! Yesterday I got in SOO much so today I am taking a break!

3fcuser1058250 05-09-2006 06:52 PM

Today got in 10k run...

mandalinn82 05-09-2006 07:20 PM

Got in the arm workout - good to do, because I've been a bit off track in doing them. Legs tomorrow :-)

dustcatcher 05-09-2006 08:51 PM

May 8 Treadmill 30 minutes
May 9 Treadmill 30 minutes, Stationary bike 10 minutes

harrypotterybarn 05-09-2006 10:12 PM

I guess part of accountability is accounting for slacking. I didn't do any exercise today. Mostly because of the tornado warning, but I could have come up with something. Blah.

mandalinn82 05-10-2006 11:53 AM

Did my cardio and stability this morning, plus my 100 crunches. Hopefully I'll get in a leg workout on my lunch (this is the plan), but added some extra leg work to my workout this morning just in case I run out of time.

dustcatcher 05-10-2006 01:28 PM

Aerobics 26 minutes, Treadmill 12 minutes, Stationary bike 10 minutes
Total for today 48 minutes

mandalinn82 05-10-2006 01:33 PM

Did my leg workout - whoo hoo! I have a feeling I'm going to feel it tomorrow.

my total for today was about an hour and a 40 minutes.

3fcuser1058250 05-10-2006 03:07 PM

Made it to the gym and did some back exercises, I wanted to do biceps but for some reason my elbow hurts  ... Then I did some hills, 5k... Tonight is swim night too... It's all good... PLUS it's a gorgeous day!!

harrypotterybarn 05-10-2006 11:57 PM

Well, that's it...the world hates me. I must have some bad karma built up from something somewhere. I pulled a muscle in my back last night (doing nothing interesting, of course ;) ) so no exercise for me until it heals. *sob*

And I was doing really well!

mandalinn82 05-11-2006 12:48 AM

You'll get back on track, harrypotterbarn, but you need time to heal! Listen to your body and get back on plan with your exercise when you feel ready! These things happen to everyone - the main thing is to get back on when you can.

Decided to go for a swim this eve, so did 40 min of that. Not too shabby for today!

mandalinn82 05-11-2006 11:52 AM

Did my stability/rebounder/100 crunches this morning - 70 min. total.

I think I'm done for the day. Yesterday evening my friend needed me to go with him to Ikea (LOL - He had never been and was afraid he would be "totally overwhelmed" - which I can absolutely see happening!). Well, clumsy me, I totally fell down on the stairs (there was a slippery spot) and wrenched my ankle. Thought it was OK, but the rebounder made it hurt like mad even though I had wrapped it, so i'm thinking very mild sprain or just a hard knock to a bone. Annoying, though. Think I will compress/elevate/ice today and see if it improves.

My friend is a law student - he started analyzing whether Ikea was at fault for my fall. Apparently, the answer is no - I'm just a clumsy oaf :-). Which, of course, was what I told him all along.

harrypotterybarn 05-11-2006 11:52 PM

Well, back or no back I did do 30 minutes on my elliptical this evening. It wasn't the most intense workout I've ever had, but every little bit counts, right? :)

mandalinn82 05-12-2006 11:57 AM

Crunches, cardio, and stability ball this morning - 65 min total.

Arm workout to follow this afternoon - 20 min.

sotypical 05-12-2006 12:20 PM

my knees are sore so I havent been exercising :(

mandalinn82 05-12-2006 02:21 PM

Arms done. I keep a calendar of all of my workouts - one little symbol for doing my cardio, one for my abs, one for the stability ball and resistance stuff, one for arms, one for legs...and every day has at least two symbols on it for EVERY day in May (and every day has cardio). Looking at it makes me really proud of me for my hard work so far this month.

Rebeca 05-15-2006 12:19 PM

Everyone in here have been working out like crazy!
I am sooo jealous!

I have 580 min left from the 620 min montly goal! I am getting there slowly but surely!

The gym is waiting for me tonight... i am planning to do at least 45min!

mandalinn82 05-15-2006 12:31 PM

Odd but active weekend - went canoeing for an hour on Saturday morning. Sunday I was at my parents house, and we were cutting down / hauling away a tree in my neighbors yard that fell during some storms this winter, because my neighbors don't have a chainsaw to do it themselves and my parents are pretty good neighbors - anyway, I spent 2 hours hauling branches, logs, and other assorted tree debris up and down two flights of stairs.

This morning, did my 35 min cardio, 40 min stability ball workout, along with my 100 crunches.

srmb60 05-15-2006 12:31 PM

I did get a walk in and changed my ticker yesterday. I'll see what I can do about moving it again today. I'm finding the ticker pretty motivational. I like to change it. It's even getting kinda close to half way!

3fcuser1058250 05-15-2006 04:41 PM

:cp: Yay girls let's keep moving ... Today I did 60 mins of legs!!

dustcatcher 05-15-2006 08:38 PM

Walked at mall 30 minutes

dustcatcher

srmb60 05-16-2006 07:51 AM

More walking and a little bit of weights for back. I have that post traumatic neck/shoulder/head ache thing going on :) So I wanted to try something relaxing. It must have worked. I feel pretty good this morning.

Rebeca 05-16-2006 08:40 AM

I walked one hour yesterday...

620 Min goal for May with 520 Min to go...

mandalinn82 05-16-2006 11:42 AM

Cardio + crunches + stability/resistance - 75 minutes.

Hope to get in an arm workout later today, but may be way short on time so may have to delay until tomorrow.

srmb60 05-16-2006 10:18 PM

I just got over half way today! Which is not bad considering it's the 16th.

dustcatcher 05-16-2006 11:22 PM

Walked dog 21 minutes

dustcatcher

3fcuser1058250 05-16-2006 11:27 PM

harrypotterybarn 05-17-2006 12:16 AM

Yay! I finally have exercise to account for! I did an hour spinning class with the new teacher who's really really tough.

srmb60 05-17-2006 08:12 AM

There's Margaret! I was posting yesterday and noticed you were missing. It's good to see you back.

mandalinn82 05-17-2006 11:36 AM

Upped my cardio to 40 minutes today, plus my 40 min. stability ball routine, and 100 crunches.

I am GOING to do my arm workout today - yesterday WAS busy but today I am going to make the time.

I know it sounds kind of stupid, but you have no idea how nice it feels to be told that I was missed by someone. :) Just one of those things, I guess.
