I just did it, spur-of-the-moment, yesterday. It was great, and really boosted my steps-for-the-day total. For the first time since I started wearing a pedometer last week, I burst through the 10k mark. 12,090!!! Woohoo!

I have a question abut mallwalking, though. Where do you stash your coat and handbag? Do you make the dash from the car to the mall sans coat? What about umbrellas? Do some malls have lockers? I'll have to look into that around here.

I'd have done another lap if I wasn't so hot. I was wearing my heavy winter jacket and it was brutal in there!

I'm definitely adding occasional Mallwalking to my list of activities!

Hey I mall walk a couple times a week just as a extra workout. I usually wear a tee shirt and a zip up sweatshirt over that and just tie it around my waist when I get hot. I know what you mean though it can get really hot. I also encourage you to watch out for the general shoppers I have almost plowed down many of them. I just get walking and forget not everyone there is trying to do this for exercise. I think it is great to walk the mall especially since it is so cold now. If you can find a walking buddy it is really fun. Anyway keep up your good work and walk on.
