Hello. I am seriously considering starting curves. I have lost 29 lbs doing WW in 11 weeks and I am ready to start adding the excersize element.

My question is for my mother. I would love for her to join curves with me, but she has a severe back injury. Can they cater a workout for someone like that? She has her 3 vertibre in her spine fused and has limited mobility. SHe walks with a little pain but walks none the less. She can't lift very heavy and she can't twist or bend alot.

Is there anyway she could join with me with an altered workout?

PLEASE do not encourage your Mother to attempt any exercise without her doctor's "ok". Her physician and/or physical therapist should be able to help her determine which activities are safe. I worked extensively with orthopedic patients, both in an orthopedic trauma unit and on a rehab unit, for several years. Please solicit the advice of trained medical professionals who are familiar with your Mother's specific injuries.
