Default Exercise Accountability Dec 18-24

Please excuse me for being forward enough to start a thread but I soooo need this. Even if you didn't exercise today, come on and ask me if I did. I need something. I've become a total computer chair potato

I'm with you, SusanB. It's SO hard with these shorter days and earlier dark to keep up. Let's encourage each other to get up out of the chair!

I usually go insane on days when there is football on. Its amazing how fast time flies by when working out and watching TV, I did two hours on my Gazelle today.

I have a fairly good routine. I work out first thing in the am, before anything else. If I have an early am apointment, I never get the workout done. Otherwise I am so good it is amazing to me. Women who work out in the early am first thing tend to burn more calories ( i need all the help I can get) and they tend to be more faithful to the exercise routines ( again I need this ) and they tend to keep with the program longer (and still needing this)
I vary the routines and intensity and occasionally do something different to keep from becoming....bored, slack, indifferent, ....etc
Dont allow yourself onto the computer till the workout is done....
good luck, this is a lifetime committment...

every single crumb tattles on me....this week there were a plethora of crumbs

Quite by accident I got some exercise in this morning. It's recycling day, so I bundled up and toted the boxes out to the end of the drive (100 meters times 3 trips). While I was all dressed anyway, I shovelled snow for a while and then brought wood in for the stove.
I have a meeting at 1 pm so before I get cleaned up for that, I'm going to do legs.
How's everyone else doing?

H Susan! Good idea getting us accountable again. I have my gym bag with me, and I'll be doing at least cardio tonight after work. My exercise this weekend consisted of walking from the far end of every parking lot I was in.

Hi Pat! Hi Tiki! Hi everybody!
I did legs before I went to my meeting but had a chocolate covered cherry and two shortbreads while I was there!

Yesterday I stacked wood for HOURS. If I'd been able to go to bed right after, I would have had a huge calorie deficit .... however .... I had to make squares and knit. So I had a small calorie deficit instead. Good enough. That'll have to do for that day.

Working 3-11 is the best exercise that will fit these last couple of days. I've been running around with Christmas stuff and car repairs and there's just no time. I guess I'll have to settle for those calories burned.

Once again, all I did was go to work. Well, that and sitting at the dealership waiting for a new fan motor I just don't think fitday is big enough to hold all the cookies and crap I ate at work last night. However, I have found that chewing gum helps some.
