Is an Urban Rebounder the same thing as a mini-trampoline? I can't justify purchasing yet another piece of exercise equipment (I have a "museum" already), but if I could find a cheap, used mini-tramp, I could easily justify that.

Fikustrees, what kind of bra is it? I'm always in the market for an industrial-strength one.

I've been rebounding on and off for a year on a cheap elastic rebounder. It's squeaky and occasionally hurts my knees. Have those of you with a spring-based noticed an obvious difference in impact between the two models?

For those of you who are considering it, even my cheap one is terrific for working out. I'm a terrible runner and certainly couldn't keep up a decent pace on a treadmill, but I can jog at a nice pace on the rebounder for a good hour. If you don't want to try the DVDs, set it up so that it's in your line of vision to the television and just try to bounce a bit instead of sitting still while you're watching.

It's fun, effective exercise and I hope more people try it.

I got a Moving Comfort bra from title nine sports and I love it. I can't tell you how much it has changed my ability to do cardio! It was really expesive though, 40 dollars well spent because now my back doesn't hurt and it doen't get really sweaty like my old one. Now, jogging doesn't hurt at all, well my chest anyway!

I started with a Wallyworld mini-trampoline, and after I decided I liked and would stick with rebounding, I bought an Urban Rebounder. I honestly wouldn't go back to the other, the Urban Rebounder is not as stiff or maybe just absorbes the weight better. I've been rebounding ( 2-3 x a week) since last fall and still haven't tired of it yet. I was the same way, had all the equipment from treadmill to stepper. This just isn't as hard on my 40-ish body.

I agree, it is much easier on the joints....the wally-world elastic tramp did not have enough give, the Urban Rebounder is great, I could never keep up the pace on hard ground either.
