Hey everybody! I hope you don't mind me starting the new thread... but since it looks like I'm on here first today, I thought I would go ahead...

Haven't O!'d yet today, but yesterday I had a great success!

First, I woke up and did L1 before work. Then, I came home at lunch and did the 8 minute Tae Bo tape. Finally, last night I did L1 and L2 with a Denise Austin Tape sandwiched in between.

That means O! - 3 times!!! And, when I woke up this morning I felt soooo great!!!! My scale also showed two pounds lighter!!!

Other good things... I have been trying to work on my diet (so hard to do!) and last night as I was working late, my boss offered to buy a pizza and I turned it down!!! That would have never happened before! Then, I had this craving for a cafe mocha and an eclair, so I went to Barnes & Noble - and only ate HALF - then made sure I did all the exercises! What a great day!!!

Nancy - I saw your post on the other site - so motivating! I wish they would come over here, but at least they are planning to start a challenge on the other side. I think it's very helpful to do these!

Barbg - good luck on your new diet. I looked the book up on amazon.com and it looks like a reallly good plan! Keep us posted on your success!

Rose - hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend and are ready for the 21 Day Challenge!!! It's going to be great!!!

Good Luck Everybody!

Wednesday--Day 1

Hi!

I haven't been eating as wisely as I'd like, but I did do my O (level 1) this morning, and hope to do it again this evening. I invited someone else--another Nancy--to this site to join the challenge. I hope I explained well enough how to get here!!! I had met her on the Oxycise site.

I am hoping that I will have as good of results on this challenge as I did on the last. I'd better curb my eating, though!

I have studying to do, so I've got to go. See you tomorrow, and hopefully can report then that I have done the O a second time today.

Nancy

ageoldie 05-30-2001 05:44 PM

REMEMBER....

how high I was Monday, well, that's how low I am today.
I went throught the motions of doing l2 this morning. I can't say I did it with gusto! but I did it. I plan to do the commuter tape on the way home. I'll write more when I have the chance.

Lucidone 05-30-2001 10:06 PM

3x O!

Did it three times tonight. I remember seeing something, whether it was in the O! newsletter or on their website, Jill lost 7 pounds in a week doing O! 3 or more times a day... So, I figured I would try that. I know this morning I felt like the O! made a difference, so we'll see if that continues...

Nancy - I totally know what you mean about the eating! That is my hardest part too! The good thing is that with my boyfriend gone, I'm not going out to dinner 5x a week anymore, so that will help... but I still have trouble controlling my own portion sizes. I had thought that by stopping the eating out, the pounds would just melt away, but apparently, it doesn't work that way :)

Barb - so sorry to hear things aren't going well for you today. Fortunately, you O!d today, even if it was just going through the motions... But for some reason the breathing really helps on even the hardest days.

Well, tomorrow morning I will be on the road, and not home till late Friday night, so I may miss a post, unless I'm able to get some morning O! in early tomorrow...

Hope everybody is doing well!

ageoldie 05-30-2001 10:43 PM

Hi, I did do the commuter tape on the way home and put more effort in it.

Part of the problem I have had today was the results of my husband's doctors appointment yesterday. His doctor wants him to have the gastric bypass surgery to get reid of some of his weight. It's really scary to think about. Either having the surgery, or not having it! Keep him in your prayers so he can make a rational decision.

The other part is that I was so excited about the recipes in ths "Formula Diet" so I got up and fixed one of the breakfasts and it tasted like *$@**#! So I tried to Flush the fat out for breakfast and lunch, but for supper I tryed burning it out  We went to eat Mexican food and I ate lots of hot sauce!!!

WOW Juliette!!! Three times in one day!!! I'm impressed. If I do it again before bed and count the commuter tape that will be three time for me. I'll let you know tomorrow if I make it.

Desert Flower 05-31-2001 12:33 AM

Still day One

Hi!

It's me again. Just wanted to tell you that I got that second Oxycise workout in. Some say they don't sweat, but I sure do!

We're starting to get more homework now, so I hope I can keep finding time. I had to do 6 practise contracts today, and it's a good thing I did them in pencil! I kept finding things that I had left out, and had to figure all the financing over again, etc. That sure takes time.

Barb, don't forget to look at those sites of Dr Cabot's. That may help you find some answers.

Lucidone, I don't think I could ever make it three a day! I don't think I have quite that much energy, especially in this hot weather. I think it's supposed to be 109 or 110 tomorrow. It's been above normal all month...

Nancy

Desert Flower 06-01-2001 01:21 AM

Thursday--Day 2

Where did everybody go???????????????

It looks like there are just three of us, and we haven't posted today.

I waited until evening, hoping to get my O in twice, but I only did it once today. I had homework to get done for my class, went to the doctor with my husband, and had potato salad to make for a potluck at work tomorrow. And had to clean up the dishes after making the potato salad!

The doctor says my husband is doing okay, and doesn't have to go back for three more months, so that is good news. And I had the nurse take my BP, too, and it was only 122/70--the best it has ever read when I was at the doctor's office!

Barb, how is your husband doing?

Let's keep going with the challenge. We all need it!! Hopefully tomorrow I'll get O in twice.

Hi Everyone:wave:!

This will be brief seeing that I've been sick with bronchitis and can not do O!! I'm so disappointed. It sounds like you all are doing great. Hopefully I'll be over this soon and get back on track. Keep Oeing everyone:D!

ageoldie 06-01-2001 08:58 PM

What..

is that old saying "the road to where is paved with good intentions? After sitting here and posting Wed night that I was going to O again before I went to bed, Did I??? NOOOOO But I have O'd every morning and done the commuter tape two days. I was going to today, but I forgot... good intentions again.

Well anyway I'm still on track

Desert Flower 06-01-2001 10:21 PM

Day 3

Did O this morning, but there was a potluck at work today. A disaster! Even birthday cake filled with strawberries and covered with whipped cream. And Don wanted to eat supper out.

At least I got the O in, but I've got to revise my menu!

Will try to do O again tonight, but can't be sure.

Rose, take care of yourself.

Barb, take care of your husband!

Nancy

Lucidone 06-02-2001 11:10 AM

I'm Back

Sorry I've been gone. Had to go to Philadelphia on business, and wasn't able to post. However, I did get my O! in while I was away. On Thursday I got up there around 4:00 and decided to go for a walk with my free time, so I walked for thirty minutes and did the breathing at the same time!!

Yesterday wasn't as easy to fit the O! in. But, I did spend 15 minutes that morning blowing up a huge blow-up football, so hopefully that counts... I did it while contracting my stomach.

Today I am really not in the mood, although I'll probably do it around 1:00 or so... Have to work from 2-11 today, so I need to get it in before hand, or it will never happen...

Nancy - I so know what you mean about your husband wanting to eat after already going to a potluck! I think that's what happens with couples - I gained 40 pounds during the two years my ex-bf and I were dating, and this 21 day challenge is what's going to help me take those pounds back off!

Rose - so sorry to hear you are sick!!! Especially bronchitis - I've never had it, but people who I know who have are just miserable!! I hope you feel better soon!

Barbg - I visit that road pretty often too! For more than just exercise! But I know you'll keep this going! Getting that commuter tape in is really helping!!

Well, time to get on with my day! Hope you all have a great weekend and are able to keep up with your O!

Desert Flower 06-03-2001 02:03 AM

Saturday--Day 4

Hi!

I did do my Oxycise today--once, and very late in the day--nearly 9 pm.

We went to Mexico today to get some prescriptions. We went through Yuma, and took about 3 hrs 15 minutes to get there, then we went back to Yuma for lunch and headed home. Gone from 7 am to 3 pm. A long day! Then I still had to go out to the health food store and the supermarket.

I hope to do better during the rest of the challenge. I haven't been eating well, and have only done O once a day. I want to eat better and do O twice a day. That is my goal right now.

It is now after 11 pm, so I'd better get off the computer and get to bed!!!

Nancy

Lucidone 06-04-2001 09:17 AM

Yesterday and Today

PMS. It's that time again. Ugh. And, it is really showing in my enthusiasm to keep this up! But, I have been able to do it! Last night I really wanted to do O! twice, but once I got into the second breath of L2, I realized that once was enough. Did my O! this morning too, so at least I'm still in the challenge, even if my heart isn't in it...

Perhaps I'll be able to do it again later... dunno... Do know that I have to work tonight, so at least I'll be getting exercise that way... plus, I mowed the lawn yesterday so got in some exercise that way too.

Weighed this morning... Down 2 pounds, although not sure how long that will last. It's the same 2 pounds I've been gaining and losing since I got down to 172. :spin: This week I resolve to focus on eating better, so hopefully that will help them STAY OFF!

Hope ya'll are doing well! Nancy, that trip to Mexico sounded like a great day!!! It must be so nice to live somewhere where you can just hop over the border like that!

ageoldie 06-04-2001 10:21 PM

Almost 1 down

We have almost made it throught the first week of our three week challenge Does that sound better than 21 days?:?:

I'm still hanging in there I even O'd first thing Saturday and Sunday. I didn;t put it off. I can't seem to get motivated enought to do it twice a day though.

My poison ivy is finally fading enought that I went back to the pool this morning. I't been almost two weeks and I can really tell I've missed it.

So what do ya'll think about the new forum? Can we show out or what :smug: Does any one know what the close tags mean? Well I guess I'd better get ready for the morning. I must admit I did enjoy the two weeks of not getting up and getting dressed until about 10:00. When I go to the health club I try to leave about 8:30.But then I remember that it wasn't long ago that I left by 6:30 to go exercise. Boy it doesn't take long to get lazy!!!

Well, I guess I've played enough. KEEP ON O'ing!!!! Yea!! Way to go ALL OF US!!!

Desert Flower 06-05-2001 01:19 AM

Day 6

Hi!

I'm rather embarrassed. I didn't do O yesterday (Sunday, a day of rest?)

I was hoping to O twice today, but ended up with once. I do hope that I do better tomorrow. I'm going to keep posting, even though I missed a day. And I need to start to eat better, too.

I told my husband tonight that as of tomorrow I'm not eating any wheat products. (Or dairy, but I didn't tell him that.) More salads, etc. I need to show some results!

I did the O with Jill on video this morning, and realized that I get a lot more reps in than she does on the video. But I'm not getting skinny! I wish I was.

Please pray about my job (that I will learn super fast) and our finances. I thought my husband would be working this week, but it turned out to be only one day. Summer school doesn't start until next week. I don't see how we can stretch that far.

Barb, how is your husband doing? Has he done a lot of research? Has he decided what to do? I've been praying.

Nancy

Tuesday

Here I am again!

I did my "O" early this morning before work. I had been eating everything I shouldn't for the last few days. Today I had my protein shake for breakfast and a salad with chicken for lunch. By mid=afternoon I noticed that my watch and my ring were considerably looser. Something tells me that might have something to do with my eating better....

I haven't been weighing myself because of the junk I was eating. I'm going to wait until the end of the 21 days. I do hope to do "O" again later this evening.

I miss having anyone else here. Are there just 3 of us?

Nancy

ageoldie 06-05-2001 11:18 PM

still on track

O'd Monday & today, and also went to the healthclub to do water aerobics. Sure feels goo to be back. I got a new tape that I think will be interesting. It's Power Pilates, and it is with the parents (mothers or dad) of several movie stars. Well, I'ms sleepy so it's off to bed so I can get up and O in the morning.

Lucidone 06-06-2001 03:13 PM

What's happenin'

Where has everyone gone? Maybe it was too soon to start the 21 days... have we scared everyone off???

I missed yesterday. Busy week, so went into work early and didn't O! in the morning. Then I treated myself to pizza with the promise to exercise, but the pizza backfired and ended up feeling sick instead.

O!'d this morning, so I'm back on track!

Tell you one thing though - I keep losing and regaining the same 2" and the same 2lbs. Time to start losing more. Hopefully I can get into doing it mroe than once a day and that will help...

Take care everybody!

Desert Flower 06-06-2001 09:02 PM

Wednesday-Day 8

I know what you mean!

First, I feel that there aren't many of us here, and I feel like I have not been successful. I haven't eaten right, and I sure can tell it! I've done better yesterday and today, but I wonder if I'll ever get my weight down.

They took pictures of us in our class at work, and I look awful. I
hate the way I look in pictures! My bod is big, but my face is even worse. I envy those women that, although they have big bodies, have slim faces!

I did do my O this morning, but I missed it last night. Hope to do it tonight, but I think I'll report nightime O on the next day's report.

Hopefully, we'll all do well tomorrow.

What is Oxycise?

Hello Everybody!! I'm new here!

Just have a question... What is Oxycise?

ageoldie 06-06-2001 11:23 PM

Swan Lake Oxycise is a great combination of deep controlled breathing with isometric or stretching positions. If you go by the video's it only take minutes to do 30 positions. You can read more about it on the Oxycise.com site.

Made it a whole week!!! I've only O'ed once a day exxceept for the days I remember to do the commuter tape, but I am finding it easier every day to get up an get at it.

Rose hope you feel better soon. We miss you. You are our leader and when you'r not here, the thread is not the same.

Desert Flower 06-07-2001 11:27 PM

Thursday

Hi!

Swan Lake, you might want to try www.oxyciseplus.com. I think the regular oxycise site is down while they're making improvements. Oxycise is the easiest exercise I've ever come across, and it works, too!

I did do my Oxycise this morning, but it seems I haven't been getting the second one in.

Today I was outdoors for about 2 1/2 services (at 105 degrees). It wasn't too bad when we were in the shade, but when you have to stand in the sun you know it!! I guess that's better than a rainstorm, though. I do feel rather drained when I get home, though, if I've been out in the heat--complete with dressy clothes and pantyhose, etc!

I did okay wth the eating today until I got home....but then......

Well, tomorrow's another day.

See you then.

Nancy

Swan_lake 06-08-2001 08:47 AM

Oh, ok!

I know what oxycise is.... I use to have a tape of that, but I don't know if that's what the lady called it... It didn't do anything for me at that time... But I wasn't following any weight loss program like I am now, so I tossed the tape out thinking she lied to me. Darn it! :o

Lucidone 06-08-2001 01:57 PM

So tired!

OK guys, this has been **** week. Soooo busy! Soooo much going on! Craziness and no time for anything!

I've been bad with the O!. I did it Wednesday, but skipped last night. I have to work tonight too, so not sure if I'll have the energy today... But tomorrow I should be back on track.

Swan, I really enjoy doing the O! and would suggest it to anybody! So far, it's the only program I've ever been able to stick with. I don't know what it is about it, but for some reason I just love the stretching in the morning, or at night before bed, or before/after other workouts.

I had an interesting benefit come from Oxycise. I have several workout tapes at home that I do, and with the extra weight it's hard to do some fo the positions (like jumping jacks) because everything wiggle and jiggles and it's uncomfortable. Well, I haven't done those tapes in about 2 months, but I've consistently done O!. So, the other night I pulled out the other tapes, and a funny thing happened - I didn't jiggle! I was able to do the jumping jacks as if I was my old 135!!! So, I'm wondering if the O! is making me thin from the inside out - like toning muscle (which of course weighs more than fat).

Anyway, I am about to fall asleep (even though it's only 2:00 in the afternoon) so I'm gonna go.

Rose please come back! We really miss you!

Nancy - keep up the great work!!! One of the best things about O! is that it works on the face too, and that's the first thing to really lose weight, so keep smiling during those inhales!

Barb - you are doing awesome! Every day for a week is so hard to do!!! You are inspiring!!!

ras8779 06-08-2001 06:35 PM

Hi Everyone:wave:!

I'm sorry I've been missing but it's just been one thing after the other with me. After my bronchitis, I ended up with strep throat and have been sick this whole week. I'm hoping this last round of antibiotics will do the trick so I can get back to doing some O! I really miss it:(! It sounds like you are all doing so great with the challenge. I'm a little more then envious right now. Hopfefully I'll be back to doing my O soon. I'm looking forward to the next challenge. I hope you all will join me:)!

ageoldie 06-08-2001 10:11 PM

YEA!!! Our Rosie's back!!! You are our leader. We miss it when you'r not here.

Have another pretty good day. My husband decided to go ahead with the surgery and called today to get an appointment with the surgeon and his appt. is Nov 8th Can you believe it? Either this guy is really good, or there are very few doctors that do it. Whatever, I decided there's no reason to worry about it yet:lol:

The water aerobic instructor that has the class on Fridays is the best of all three instructors. She also sub Wed, so I've had two great classes. I have been really good at being able to do the O breaths while I'm in the water.

I really didn't want to get up and do my video this morning, but I did.Aren't you proud of me!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend and keep on breathing!!!

Desert Flower 06-09-2001 06:18 PM

Saturday

did my O yesterday, but have not done it yet today. My husband was hurrying me to go get groceries, etc.

Barb, my thought is that maybe your husband will see some results with other attempts to lose (diet, Oxycise, etc) and find that by November he won't need the surgery. That may be the reason for such a long time. It would be wonderful to see results before then.

Talk to you all tomorrow.

Nancy

Swan_lake 06-10-2001 12:34 AM

OK!

Years ago I use to do body flex, but that harsh breathing was a bit much.. So, now, that I've read some things from the oxycise web site, I may try this particular exercise.. But, which tape should I buy? :?:

Desert Flower 06-11-2001 01:59 AM

Sunday, June 10

Hi!

First my recommendations to Swan Lake. If you go to the OxycisePlus site and look at products you will probably find a special of some sort on Level One. It will probably include a book, an instructional tape, a workout tape and an audio tape or CD. That is where I would recommend that you start. You need the instructions and the book to get a thorough understanding. You could also get a tape of Level Two if you have the money to spare, and then go from there. I have level two, but I have been doing level one all along and kind of ignoring level two. Others are using several levels, but you really need to start with level one.

Now my tale of woe. I haven't even tried to measure or anything since the end of the last challenger, where Ihad measureed. And I feel like I have really blown it this time. I have missed two days--last Sunday and yesterday, and have only Od once a day for the other days, and the challenge is half over! Also I have eaten wrong, to seay the least. I am determined that as of tomorrow that is going to turn around. I will watch what I eat better, and I will at least attempt to O twice daily, unless unforseen circumstances come up.

I went shopping for clothes today, and it was a nightmare. When I look at those dressing room mirrors I could cry. I look like I am about eight months preganant, and my youngest child is 38! I need clothes that look dressy, fit well, and are preferrably washable, as I must spend time outdoors in 110 degree heat sometimes for an hour or more at a time, maybe a couple times a day, and I can't afford to get my clothes dry cleaned every week. Clothes were expensive and dry clean only if they fit the other qualifications, so I gave up. Hopefully I will be able to do better in a month or so, and might be slimmer and with more money to spend. (I did buy a dress at a Penny's Outlet a couple weeks ago and spend 14.95 for a 59.95 dress, so at least I did well there.)

I really worked hard when I did my O this evening. I've got to slim down the abs, especially!

How are the rest of you doing?

Nancy

Lucidone 06-11-2001 11:25 AM

Break Over

Good morning! Took a break from O! this weekend. I know we are in a challenge, but I just needed time to not feel responsible for anything (weight, work, life, etc...) so I just rented movies and vegged and it was great!

Mr. Jones showed up today (what I cal TTOM) so hopefully I'll lose a little weight over the next couple of days.

Did my O! this morning, and will hopefully do it again this evening before bed. I think doing O! twice a day is really helpful... especially for me because sometimes I'll be doing a tape, and my mind will wander and I'll suddenly wonder if I've even been breathing properly! Also, I don't know about you guys, but any position that requires bending over, it's really hard to lift the stomach during those.

I read something interesting on the O!plus site that I thought was interesting. When I started doing O! I lifted and contracted during the first breath (instead of relaxing the muscles like they say too) and I still lost inches - in fact, I seemed to lose them more quickly. Someone on that site mentioned they did the same thing with the same results, so maybe that will help.

I also wonder if we would lose weight/inches faster if we varied the tapes we used (for those of us who have more than one). For example, at the gym they say if you do the same routine over and over again, your body stops working to it, but if you vary your routine every other week or so, it will help you lose weight faster. I don't know if it's just another "theory" but I read it somewhere. I guess the point is that maybe if we change the tapes we use every so often, we may see quicker results.

Just a few thoughts... I hope you all are doing well and continuing the challenge with more effort than I am. Whenever I get PMS I practically shut down, and I really just needed a break from the pressure I've put on myself to get thin...

Swan_lake 06-11-2001 12:29 PM

Geez!

Y'all are really making me excited about getting this tape! :dizzy:

ageoldie 06-11-2001 06:47 PM

HANGING IN

I didn't get up and O Sat or Sunday morning, but I did do it. Saturday afternoon I did my O and my new Pilates tape. It is really a whole lot like Oxycise, just not exactly the same breath, but the positions and the fact that you do deep breathing are very similar.

Sunday I didn't do it until just before I went to bed and I debated with myself whether to do it or to just blow it off. I'm glad I did it.

Swan Lake I like Level 2 best. I have all of them except the upper body one and I do Level too most often. In fact during this whole 21 day challenge I've only done level 2.

Juliette I have tried both ways, doing only one tape and doing a mixture, and I personally seem to do better doing the same one for a strech at a time.

nancy You are beginning to sound like me.

Desert Flower 06-12-2001 01:10 AM

Monday June11

Hi!

I did my Oxycise twice today, waiting until the second one to post. Actually I feel exillerated tonight!! Maybe that second time was just what I needed.

I'm still not really eating right, but at least I got the O in twice, and that's a lot!

Had to stand outside a while--shorter this time--in the heat again today, and I found that with a little breeze being under a tree is cooler than being under an awning. It really wasn't so bad, and it was high noon in Phoenix. I don't look forward to July and August, though......

Juliette, you aren't the only one who has missed a day or two, but it's better to get back with it than to quit.

Swan Lake, we're looking forward to your joining us in doing "O"

Barb--I'm not quite sure how I'm like you. Is it good or bad?????

Have a great day tomorrow, and don't forget to drink lots of pure water, too.

Nancy

ras8779 06-12-2001 03:28 PM

Hi Everyone:wave:!

It's me the non Oer! I'm recovering slowly but surely. I'm going to try to get back on the O train this weekend:)! I'll be done with my antibiotics so I should be all set to go. I've really missed it and I've missed all of you too!

Barbg, Juliette, Swan Lake, Nancy-You all are doing such a great job:D! I'm so jealous. I can't wait to get Oeing again and get my energy back. I'm sorry I haven't been posting much. Work has been hectic and I'm dead tired at night so I haven't been online much. Thanks for hanging in there with me and not forgetting me. I'll be back to my old self real soon. Good job everyone:D!

mothership 06-12-2001 03:29 PM

Hello!

Hi everyone, I'm new to the board, and was led over here. I had posted about a month long challenge, not realizing that you all are in the middle of one already!

Well, I'm going to do it myself anyway, I'll post my ramblings about it here if you all don't mind.

I think I'll start tomorrow AM.
measure and weigh in then.
I'm aiming for a big difference by July 15, my son's first Birthday, bound to have a lot of family in town.

BTW- I need to lose about 80 more pounds to get to target weight, I've lost 40 so far. and had stlled out around X-mas thru May. But, recently I got motivated again. I'm on a great diet and trying to find some time to excercise. I'm home with a 4 year old and almost one year old, it can be challenging to say the least.

I do an odd mixed bag of yoga Body Flex and Oxcycize.
I'm going to try for 3x a day, I do 10 minute bursts since my children will not tolerate my absence any longer than that.

My other promises are to remember vitamins every day, and 10 glasses of water a day (I'm still nursing and need to be really hydrated).

well, wish me luck ladies I'll write tomorrow night!

-Mothership:)

Hello again--

I only got Oxycise in once today. I had tapes to listen to for work and some other things I had to get done. Actually, I still have one task to do and it's nearly 10:30pm. I'm determined to at least get my morning O in, though.

Good to see you joining us, Motherboard. Actually, I hope to keep up O every day, challenge or not, but this is a way to discipline myself, at least a little. I would like to where I do O twice a day every day, though. I need to lose about 70 lbs myself, but I can't blame it on my "baby"--he's 38 years old! Actually, I was much slimmer after he was born than I am now.

I need to get my other chore done, then get to bed. I haven't been sleeping enough.

See you all tomorrow. BTW, Motherboard, that 10 glasses may not even be enough. We need at least 1 oz for every 2 lbs we weigh, and if you live in a desert like I do, or it's very hot weather, more than that. I try to drink a gallon a day. And some days when my work takes me outside for prolonged periods of time I drink even more. You can read more about water at www.watercure2.com.

Good night all.

Nancy

I can't believe I didn't post yesterday :o cause I totally did my O! yesterday morning! Missed this morning cause I have a pretty important presentation to give this afternoon and really needed to spend time on getting ready. Of course I also had trouble getting out of bed, despite the dog licking my face all morning!

Great to see so many new people join our challenge! Welcome!!! Oxycise is really the greatest! I miss it soooo much on days when I don't get to do it.

Good news - I have officially lost two more pounds! I kept fluxuating between 170 and 172 for about two weeks, and then finally on Saturday my scale went down to 168. I was sooo excited! So, my signature says 170 right now in case I continue to fluxuate, but for the past week I've been lucky to see it stay at 168, so maybe I'll be able to adjust it lower sooner than later. That's 12 pounds since April - really exciting!!!

Hope everybody has a great Wednesday! Glad you are feeling better Rose! Keep up the great work Nancy and Barb - you two are really keeping this thread going right now!

Thursday--Day 15

Hi!

I thought I'd better report in. I've been shopping, so I'm tired tonight. Still having trouble finding clothes I like that fit me. Finally found a skirt and top at Lane Bryant, but I really wanted a pants outfit.

I did my O yesterday morning, and again this morning. i hope to do it again befroe I get to bed tonight.

I still haven't "knuckled down" to eating right. I know that's important, too. I don't think I'll lose much without it, but it is hard!

Hi Everyone:wave:!

It's been so long since I've been here:(! I've missed O but it's been impossible to do with my bronchitis and strep throat but now I'm better and I've decided to try to do some O tomorrow. I know I'm too late for this challenge but I really need to get back to doing O!:D You are all doing so great! Very motivating. I really need O to get my energy back. I notice the difference big time in how I look and feel. I'm determined to lose some of this weight and tone up. Thanks for being here and posting everyone:D!

By the way what day of the challenge are you all on? I'll be interested in joining the next one if you all plan on doing another one:D! Keep up the great job with the breathing:).

I've missed all of you!
