Default Do you need a kick in the behind?

I know I do! In January - February I lost 26 inches. Then I got really sick and got out of the habit of everything I was doing.
Well it's now April and I am ready to take some serious steps in moving forward.

When I lost those 10 pounds and 26 inches I was just counting calories, exercising on a daily basis, and pushing water.

So here's the plan:
I'm going back to that and I'd love people to join me! I know my biggest motivation is having others doing it with me. So don't be afraid to post a reply.
Set some goals - it's never too late!

My goal for this week:
Exercise 10 more minutes than the day before. (including 10 more crunches every night)
Drink more water.
Get motivated!!!

Have a fabulous week - I'd love to hear from you and we'll motivate each other. We can do this!

I'm totally in! Your post is exactly what I was looking for...I had been being sooooo good for months and then the past 3 of them I completely fell off the wagon. But the weather is gorgeous and it reminds me that summer is just around the corner. So I'm in.

I'm in, I know the only way I can lose is if I really stay motivated working out. My goal is to work out 4 days this week t the gym and try and do my pillates tape at home at least once. I have been averaging 3 work outs a week but I need to boost that. I also need to stop snacking!

Molly, having a weekly exercise accountability tread is a great idea....You or I can start a weekly one if you wish, whoever gets here first on Monday morning starts it... We could call it "Exercise Accountability #1, Apr. 11 to 17" or if you have something more creative I'm all for it...

Today I WILL go to the gym tonight, even if I don't like to go after supper and I'm not used to it, I usually go in the AM or the afternoon, but I'm working full days this week, well technically only 2 full days, but it does make a difference!... Tonight I will work chest and triceps and run at least 5K...

I got the MTV pilates tape. I've heard the windsor one is the best but it cost a lot more
Pilates is good but its hard for me to stay with it because its so slow and methodical but afterward I'm all sore which means its working my muscles. I ussually judge my work out by how sweaty I am. I know you burn calories working your muscles but I like that cardio burn!

A kick in the behind is exactly what I need I've been doing so well lately, but today I am totally off track. I got caught up in making jewelry this morning, and before I knew it, it was afternoon and I hadn't eaten or exercised. I ended up snacking like mad all afternoon and evening. I think today is just going to be chalked up as a loss, unfortunately, but I'll take that kick for tomorrow

I'd like to join in! I'm doing okay with exercise right now, but I tend to sneak a piece of candy here and there at work. It's not alot, but I want to cut that out completely. Also, I NEED to drink more water. I know I'm not getting enough. This was a great idea!

Well this is what I would LIKE to stick to:

Eating: I'm doing weight watchers and trying to eat healthier, make better choices etc. I'm trying to stay away from junk food as much as possible, with occasional treats (mostly on weekends, for example: popcorn with a movie) and I'm trying not to eat after 8pm.
Eating I am doing ok with, I'm getting better day by day, it takes me a few weeks to get the hang of things I've learned.

Exercise: I would like to do at LEAST 30 minutes of Cardio 3x/week and I would like to try and do 2 full body strength routines twice a week, although I'm not sure it will have any benefit since I'm not 100% what exercises to do! lol I would also like to try and do the 20 minute Winsor Pilates tape twice a week as well. I also want to try and get out for a walk/bike ride as much as possible too.

Does anyone have any good video recommendations for Cardio??? I have a few but alot of them are sooo frustrating because they are more like dance moves, some are so hard I get light headed and others have too many jumping moves which I can't do because my boobs. I enjoy the treadmill but I can't afford one and going to the gym isn't always an option.

Also is it ok if I do 2 full body strength routines a week with weights? Start with lighter weights and work my way up? I'm not really sure what is best in this area..or how to go about doing things so that I get results...

My goal for today:

1) Exercise: Cardio, try my new Tai Chi DVD, and do my second day of strength training (just started that this week)

2) Get back on track with eating. Yesterday was an insane binge day. I don't need another of those today.

Trixie- I think I am becoming the exercise DVD queen lately. I don't use anything with jumping (unless they offer modifications) because I have knee problems. I think the most easy to follow one I have that actually makes me sweat is Crunch-Fat Burning Pilates. It's not actually a pilates DVD. It's standing moves based on pilates floor poses (which I've never done so don't think you have to have a clue about any of that to do the DVD).

Trixie: Do you have an xbox or other game system?
I use a game called Yourself!Fitness - I really like it.

Goals for today:
Drink 100 oz of water
Walk 2 miles at lunch
