Default Walk away the pounds video

leslie sansons walk away the pounds express, 4 mile walk is an AWESOME dvd. I'm totally out of shape and can only go one mile right now but I'm hoping to work up to 4 miles by the end of next month, in addiction to my walking outside....

this video is SO EASY. I turn the volume all the way down and put on some fast loud punk music to get me going and I can still follow it, it's just a few si mple moves throughout the walk and it is really easy and a super good workout.

It's been too cold for running (for me anyway LOL) lately, so I've been doing that video most days. I started with a mile myself and worked my way up. Now, even the hour of it sometimes isn't enough. While I walk to the music they have, just to keep the right pace because I have such poor coordination anyway, I have started doing jumping jacks, jump rope movements, and upper body twists instead of just the walking in place. I will stop the jumping to go to the kicks, knee lifts and sidesteps, but I spice up the walk segments.

[FONT=Book Antiqua]I love Leslie Sanson! I have the Walk Off the Pounds for Abs with the arm band and a double dvd with a 3 or 4 mile walk. I can't remember right now.
Even if I haven't time to dig out the the video, I can just do the basic moves to some music or just while watching the kids play out in the back yard.
Its great!

I've never used 3....for people who already have a video, don't sweat it I'm sure it's not all that different... but for peopel who don't, I suggest getting it instead of a one or two mile one because you can work yer way up...

I have the 4 mile express DVD with the 15 minute stretch session on the end...which I never usually do cuz it can't do it...but my mom says I should! lol The DVD is 60 minutes in total, and really works up a sweat, I usually turn the volume down too and put on a CD to listen too cuz the workout is easy and I dont like listening to her say the same thing every time I do it! lol

I do the 4 mile super challenge, but I too never do the stretches at the end, because I prefer to substitute it with yoga stretching. As long as you do something to stretch the muscles and cool down, you should be fine.

I just got a double one it has the two mile walk and the weight loss 4 mile walk. I love it I have only done the two mile walk but its fun. I think the video is from the 80s though she has some funky hair in lol... My husband is usually playing a computer game so I listen to his game instead of her.
