Default Looking at getting a treadmill

I was going to a gym regularly working out on the treadmill but the membership fee was becoming to be to much. I've been trying to figure out what type of treadmill would work for me. Unfortunately I don't have a big budget to work with, so that with the user weight limit is giving me trouble. I'm currently 248 and I was looking at machines with the limit at 250 but when I contacted the sellers they tell me these machines are not for me. I really want to get an electric one so I can eventually jog on it but I'm not having any luck.

Consider getting a 2nd hand treadmill on various local websites that sell stuff. Some people even deliver just to get it off their hands. Any treadmill should be able to manage 250 good gracious. I periodically consider either a treadmill or elliptical trainer but I haven't taken the plunge yet. Good luck!

Ive thought aboit thia too. I wanted to gst a treadmill that has resistance to it so I can burn calories faster. Unfortunately those are expensive it seems no matter where you get them!

I was on here asking questions about treadmills not that long ago too. I have a bad knee and I wondered how it would affect that. I also wanted something with resistance like @weightlosshopeful said, I think the incline setting helps burn more too. @Follena FWIW I ended up taking the plunge and it's been a great thing for me! I refuse to watch TV now without at least walking on the treadmill while doing it. Just make sure you do your homework before you buy. I read up on this one https://www.treadmillreviews.com/nor...eadmill-review and it has been great for me. Just make sure you read and get one that is in your budget and will help you reach whatever goal you set for yourself.
