  • Anything by Rage Against the Machine, or anything by Jack White.

At least that does it for me.
  • I find, somehow, that "angry" music (which is not normally music I listen to) is what I find best for my workouts (especially when I run.) I mean, I am *so* not an Eminem fan, but one of my absolute favourite songs to run to is "Not Afraid". I guess it's just the "f*** you" stuff that gets me going. *L*
  • I'm so glad I found this post. I was hoping to find some good songs and did Thanks y'all!
  • There's a "workout music" station on Pandora that I found that's mostly pop/rap/hiphop from the past 20 years and it's really motivating. I like to fire that up on my Kindle instead of using my ipod playlist now because there's more variety using Pandora.

I use this station too. Way easier than having to make my own playlist
  • I didn't even think about searching for a workout station on pandora - that's awesome. Thanks
  • side note, how much data does pandora take up on your iphone?
  • I'm not sure. I have unlimited data and my gym has wifi (most do!)
