I know I need to go. I feel better when I DO go. But it's been a nice little break. I've been watching what I eat, which is good and key, but oh man, I am so ready for the pain tomorrow! I need some motivation!
I find I can go about two weeks without much noticeable drop in performance. The first day back my running might be a little slower and the weights lifted a little lighter but you soon get back into form.
I wouldn't want to go much more than two weeks away though...
I'll probably just ride about 7 miles on the bike tonight and do a little light weight lifting, but I think I'm getting cranky Add to that the newbies, which I love, but some of them aren't up on all the rules yet (like wipe your sweat off the equipment, please!) and the fact that it's PACKED and I just haven't been motivated.
