Default Painful(?) fat when running/bouncing

My apologies if this has been mentioned before, but does anyone else suffer from the jiggles when doing a bouncy exercise? When running, skipping, jumping etc the fat on my belly/bum/thighs jiggles and hurts. Weird, but incentive to burn it off I guess

OMG YES!

It is so weird, and makes it difficult to do some exercises. It is like my muscles want to go one way, but my fat pulls me the other way!

The good thing though, I guess..is that it is getting better! And yes, you are right, incentive to work hard and get it gone!

Compression clothes, esp pants/shorts/skirts are the BEST invention.

Compression shorts I had a lot of painful bouncing from my butt when I started running and I used to think I needed a bra for my butt. I really just needed compression shorts.

I don't have the pain anywhere you mentioned.
I have it on my back shins and calves!
Its the worst too.
I think I'll start doing the squats and leg press when I get a chance, but it still hurts

Yes! For me, I wouldn't call it painful. Just uncomfortable. And awkward. Mainly in my thighs when we're shakin it at Zumba.

When I do jumping jacks or related bouncing exercises, though, the "girls" start to hurt from all the movement. No matter how much support I give them, they just can't stay still, and it's really uncomfortable!

A very good reason to burn it off. I have never head of fat hurting--but I guess if they're is a lot of skin moving around--it's bound to cause some friction and get irritated.

Oh goodness- 30 Day Shred totally killed me with the bouncing moves!! Hurt so bad! I use a fitted underwear that covers a lot of the lower abdomen and a pair of leggings or shorts that fit well enough to keep the lower abdomen from moving too much. I also use a form-fitting workout tank or a cami-type that goes over the abdomen for extra measure.

Kscott- Like dumpling99 said, it wasn't really painful- just very uncomfortable and awkward.

haha! I totally get that, sometimes i feel like I could use multiple bras all over

Will definitely check out the compression clothing, I've been running in some old dance trousers that I used to wear when I took classes but they're getting bobbly between the legs from where my thighs rub. eugh

Thanks for the suggestions and the giggles, glad it's not just me!

I love spandex!!! I'm finding I jiggle less and less and I LOVE that. Incentive to go at it harder!
