Well, after a hectic couple of days, I completed my move and settled back down yesterday. I am thrilled to be back "home", after being away for a year. I have experienced so many changes in the past few months, the biggest being weight loss surgery and a loss of 65+ lbs to date. Now that I am 6 weeks out and pretty close to healed from surgery, I figure it is time to take the next step in my weight loss journey.
Exercise.
I have to say, I am SO excited to get active again. I was very active when I was younger, but for the last 10+ years, have lived a very sedentary lifestlye, and that is just not who I am. So, today I went an joined one of our local gyms, and also signed up for a personal training package to get a program made up for the next month. I am going to go to my first class tomorrow (I chose Yoga Stretch), and hopefully meet with my trainer in a week or so. Part of my package is a body fat analysis, and I'm excited to see where I am compared to the last analysis that I had done (last year...not yet at my highest weight).
I just can't tell you how excited I am!
