Mud Run anyone?
I just found a flier for a Girls Only Mud Run ( Pretty Muddy) It sounds like such a blast! I just started getting in shape again about a month ago, so I know I won't be ready for the event next weekend, but It's one heck of a goal I'm giving myself! Want to be ready to tackle it next year and kick some booty!
SO.... have you ever participated in a mud run/adventure run event? How was it? How did you train for it? Did you feel like you trained hard enough? Would you do anything different if going back for another? Any other helpful tips or info? |
I have not done a mudrun, but heard it was awesome. I would love to make this a goal of mine. We had one last weekend near my home I wanted to go watch. I would deffinatly love to work toward this goal with you...

I did a similar mud run (Dirty Girl Mud Run) a couple of weekends ago- it was a blast!! It was not competitive at all and we don't even know what our time was. Very low pressure, but still a lot of fun and a great workout.
I didn't do anything special outside of my usual gym routine. I had never done a race before and am not physically competitive, so I was a little nervous. I had nothing to worry about. All physical abilities were represented and it was more about having fun than actually racing. If you have a good workout routine going right now, you should be fine. |
