Question How exercise affects TOM

I'm not sure if it is my diet or my exercise, but my TOM has been erratic. (ie-spot one day the week i'm supposed to get it, then it just disappeared. Next two weeks same thing) is this normal? I changed my diet eight weeks ago. I started walking and running six weeks ago four days a week. I'm starting to get concerned.

probably both.
a couple of years ago, when I lost many lbs. in one month.
I didn't have TOM the next month...
with all the PMS symptoms... was terrible.

I started working out last month. Cardio 3x a week and lifting heavy 3x a week. I'm over a week late this month.

my TOM disappears whenever i stress my body, physically, emotionally or even mentally sometimes...on a repeated basis...when there is constant family drama, it disappears...etc...i get all the PMS symptoms but little to no bleeding, perhaps just a spot or two...im on birth control and im not pregnant...this has happened for several years now...for example this month, two weeks ago, i started running HIIT on the treadmill...sure enough, no TOM showed up, just two little spots one day during TOM...i'm not worried about it...ive seen how its all connected

Thanks for posting this. Same with me. I have regular TOM (lately). I have PCOS and once I lost some weight my TOM came back. Last month, I didn't have one. Well, I attribute it to the fact I was stressed out and I have been working out aggressively (sometimes 2 times a day).

I think if you are really concerned maybe you want to consult your dr. Just to be sure there isn't something wrong. My rule when it comes to health is, "Be safe, not sorry."
Let your dr. know about your diet & exercise. Be honest, this is the ONLY WAY he/she can help you. Maybe you are stressing your body too much, which is not healthy even if it is to lose weight. Trust me, risking your health to lose weight is never a good idea.
I hope the news is only good & that your body is "just adjusting to your new lifestyle".
