I failed miserably in February - got a cold that turned into bronchitis and lasted nearly four weeks. I was just unpleasant to be around. Needless to say, no running happened - not much of anything other than going through a vast amount of Kleenex happened. However - that is behind me and I am determined to get back on track!
I'm run/walking right now, partly to ramp my fitness back up and partly to continue to rehab the knee I had surgery on. My knee actually does a lot better when I work it, so I'm doing my PT exercises, strength training, and gentle running. I have a 5k on March 12, which I'm going to do slowly with a friend who'll be doing his first race - my DH will be running for time so I told him we'll just meet him at the finish. I'm also considering a 10k at the end of May - I figure that's just over 12 weeks, if I can't get from a 5k to a 10k in 12 weeks, I'm really struggling.

Jojo - I run in the mornings, usually about 5:30am. It gets hotter than Hades here around April-ish and stays hot through October, so the early mornings are about the only chance I have to run in under 90 degrees. I detest treadmills - I love being outside.
