Got out before the rain hit this morning. switched it up a bit, parked at Starbucks then went out for 3 miles on a new residential route....way cool...all the smells of spring with the flowers here! My mutts were very happy...of course Angie took them for a walk each day I was gone but when dad's home they know they will be spoiled!

I'm going to attempt to get in my 5 miles today, too - but I'm likely going to have to skip a few days because we're traveling a long ways to go to a funeral and will be gone for 3 days, dealing with settling final affairs and visiting family and such.... I just don't know how I'll make time for getting a walk in during the next few days... so hopefully I won't get too far behind. Having picked it up to 5 miles has encouraged me that I can step it up and still might be on track to reach my goal for the year... so maybe a few days off won't be that bad, as long as I keep that 5 miles ready to go when I get back and stick to it.
