Default New Balance FIT Heart Rate Monitor Question... Help :)

I was just wondering if anyone had heard reviews on this heart rate monitor. I purchased one the other day, and I just wanted to make sure the calorie counter was pretty accurate??

I don't know anything about that particular model.

Do you program your weight, age, height, etc., into it?
If so, that's about as accurate as you can get, I believe.

What kind of readings are you getting?

I had to program my age, sex and weight into it.

Today I did the circuit workout in Jillian's book Winning by Losing plus a 5 min warm up and it said I burned 613 cal.

Wow. How long was the workout?

Here's my stats if you want to compare:
I'm 45, weigh 135lbs and average burning 100 calories per 15 min, so 400 cal per hour. I can get more than that when I do kickboxing.

Your's will vary according to how much you weigh.

Ok, I just looked on Amazon.
I'm not sure if I found the correct model, but what I saw this HRM is the strapless kind.

If it has a strap and is a continuous monitor, I would trust it. Elsewise, I would not.
