Default Is a trainer worth it?

Do you guys think having a personal trainer is worth the money? My funds are kind of low right now, so I would probably only do about 1 session per month. Worth it? If you have/had a trainer, what were the benefits? Did you see a difference in your body? Thanks!

id say yes even its one session a month, they can show you what your doing wrong or show you how to increase things.. whatever else.. i'd use a trainer more for showing me the ropes.

If your funds are low, I'd still recommend a trainer to show you how to properly use the equipment and to introduce you to other exercises using free weights, balls, etc. I went to one regularly and it helped, but she was especially helpful in teaching me the proper ways to use the equipment, and to devise a routine for me.

I think they are helpful. More knowledge is always a good thing! If you see one once a month then your meetings will probably consist of form correction and learning new exercises if you are in a rut.

I had a trainer, Jessie. It was worth it! She was positive & upbeat, full of advice, and really helped me push myself. It was a love/hate relationship, lol. Part of my time with her was rehab for my R knee (3 surgeries) but then weight loss--because that will REALLY help my knee! Good luck to you. =)

Thanks! Unfortunately, as these things seem to happen, my car broke down today so getting a trainer is out of the question right now. I've been going to the gym for about a year (with some time off while I was gaining weight). I pretty much know the machines, form, etc. Just wanted someone to push me, I guess. Guess I'll have to wait a while.

I think is worth it if you have the money, from one of the numerous times that i lost weight before, I remember the best workuts were when I have a personal trainer, he would tell me what to do, then next exercise, and he doesnt not allow you to stop. Mine use to call me when i did not go to the gym,
