  • I have kind of a dumb question, but do you wear your shoes when using Wii fit? It seems like the balance board can't do the body check if I have them on, but I don't like the thought of doing free run without them. Anyone?
  • I wear my sneakers when I use my Wii Fit plus. I was doing the stepping and silly me, my shins started to really hurt. It was pointed out to me that I should wear sneakers so I didn't end up with shin splints...(why didn't I think of that?? lol) So from then on I started wearing the sneakers. I haven't had any issues so far. I don't use it a lot, but it's a fun to do when I can't get myself motivated to do one of my workout videos.

That question isn't even CLOSE to dumb. I found that there are certain things I need to do barefoot - balance games & yoga especially. Any of the walking I found I really need athletic shoes on!
  • Everyone has been playing wii fit plus here and enjoying it.

It's amusing, and I like I can do it with my kid. I like the balance work of the games and the yoga. Strength -- rather do a DVD. Actually, for a "real" workout I would rather do a DVD.

But for low key play or for balance work I really like it a lot. I've become more aware of my center of balance and posture since we started using it.
