  • Well done IgetFit, and Onderchic awesome Lizzy! welcome

Igetfit! I like Being Human, i've watched a few episodes - late at night on bbc3 lol.. that vampire is such a hotty!!
  • I didn't even realize the previous thread had been closed until I tried to edit my entry & the editing option didn't appear. :-( I just keep editing my entry all month, rather than creating new ones for each day.

I've spent the summer working out every other morning at the tiny, clean & rather upscale gym two blocks from my new apartment. (On the days when I work in Connecticut, I use the company gym, which is tiny, not so clean, and a little beat up since the recession-related budget cutbacks.)

Update: I canceled my college gym membership. They raised the price by 20% over last semester! Anyway, belonging to two gyms at the same time was excessive. I cannot justify that expense.

Aug. 29: One hour bike, weights
Aug. 30: Five miles on treadmill, abs work
Aug. 31: 25 minutes recumbent bike, 35 minutes upright bike, weights (the regular stationary bikes were all taken tonight; suddenly everyone was working out in the company gym!)

Sept. 1: One hour elliptical, abs work
Sept. 2: One hour bike, weights
Sept. 3: One hour elliptical, abs work
Sept. 4: One hour bike, weights
Sept. 5: 30 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes bike, walked around the Village for part of the day
Sept. 6: One hour bike, weights
Sept. 7: Ran just over five miles on treadmill
Sept. 8: One hour bike, weights
Sept. 9: One hour bike, weights
Sept. 10: One hour bike, abs work
Sept. 11: One hour elliptical, weights
Sept. 12: 30 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes bike, abs work, walked around Village for several hours
  • Awesome work, saef!!

Just finished 20 minute cardio interval (with 5lb handweights)

Yes he is very cute a little young for me (I hear he is only 22) but cute. I am always attracted to older men in their 30's & 40's. I love the Graham Norton show it's so funny, we have nothing like him in the US. He does the funniest stuff like the time he had that guy go for a wax (back, crack & sack) or the speed dating one I was laughing so hard I was crying. I never know who any of his guests are but it's still loads of fun.

(On the days when I work in Connecticut, I use the company gym, which is tiny, not so clean, and a little beat up since the recession-related budget cutbacks.) Now that the school year has commenced, I'll be able to use the college gym, also in my neighborhood, because I'm an alumna. The college gym has small but wonderful facilities, including a big pool, but it keeps college student hours on the weekends. (It doesn't open till 11 AM.) So I may end up paying for memberships in two different gyms (the college & the little neighborhood gym), which seems excessive, but it's the only way I can see to getting use of a gym in the early morning hours on weekends when I want to clear the rest of the day for other activities.
