Default Working out again after a hard workout

I did a new DVD workout, and I got my butt handed to me. I am mega sore but I also lost 4 lbs in one workout. I am motivated to do it again, but was wondering if it is best to let your muscles recover, or if it is best to work out again.

I think you need to not get carried away by working out too hard. I did that earlier in the week, pulled my hamstring, and had to take today off from working out. This is not the first time I've pushed to hard and too soon, yet I still can't manage to learn my lesson.

I think it's best to let your muscles recover and so the workout after a day's rest. I always do a light workout such as a walk or short run after a hard workout.

I believe you can really injure yourself if your muscles are too sore and you try to work them hard again.
