Since realizing I was falling way behind in my mileage totals, I've tried to pick up the pace a notch (*rimshot*), but I still left myself with a bunch of miles to do this month! I think I can do it, at about 30 miles a week, although with all of the parties/field trips/rain/etc. it's definitely going to be a measure of my determination. Note to self: do not slack off next year! 20 miles a week!
MARYELLEN I hope the mood is better! Good luck on the finish DIANE
Catching up here...3 with Angie and the mutts on Saturday...2.5 just me and the dogs while Angie went to yoga then 4 for me today on the treadmill as it was rain-rain-rain all day long.
567.5/1000 MILES
EDIT ~ Earlier this year when my daughter ran her first marathon one of her friends, Amy, "snuck" in to run miles 14-24 with her for support as part of her daily work-out...anyway Amy qualified for Boston this week-end!
1182 miles YTD as of this morning's run. wow. When I started tracking early this year, I had NO idea that I would rack up this many miles. I will easily break 1200 this year: >100 miles / month average! It's been a good year; running with a group, keeping our long run mileage up throughout the year, and I've been fortunate to stay injury free.
That's going to be a tough benchmark to break next year!!
>500 posts! Almost as impressive as our mileage! I need to update my ticker with 27 more, but I'll wait til my next run and make it an even 30! Gotta close this thread and start a new one!
