I do 3 - 18 minute walking/jogging sessions. I am wondering if I should be working on doing all 3 sessions at one time? Is it more beneficial to do the 54 minutes all at one time? I am shedding pounds the way I am doing now, I am just wondering would I lose more if I do it another way.

Are you doing the 3 sessions in one day? I've heard that you can split your workouts up through the day and they are just as good as doing it all at one time. Keep up the good work! You are making your body burn more through the day!
As long as you are getting out there and doing it, that's what counts. My husband also says that if you do three shorter sessions during the day (while getting your heart rate up of course) that it is better because three times a day you are working that metabolism instead of just the one time. It makes for a 3 extended calorie burns instead of one. It made sense to me but I am sure there are those that would disagree and say you should do one long work out. Just keep truckin, sounds like you are doin great! Just make sure you are putting intensity into every walk, I think that's your best bet!
That is awesome you are doing it. If you are happy with your current method and it's working I wouldn't change a thing just yet. It looks like you are experiencing great success. Also, I am currently doing the 30 Day Shred-it's only a 20 minute program.
aerobic resperation doesn't become you primary fuel source until you've been exercising for around 40 mins ( give or take) so for maximum fat burning you need to exercise for at least 40 mins. 3 sesssions of 54 mins a week is excellent and it gives you 6 mins after to cool down by slowly reducing the speed to a stop and gives a nice round hour of activity
Yes, I do all 3 sessions in one day so I do a total of 54 minutes (actually is comes to about 54 minutes and 30 seconds :P) each and every day. Thanks so much for the encouraging responses. I love this place and all you folks here ♥
