Sunday night:
1) Did the Crossfit Warm-up:
misc moving/stretching, then
10 OH squats (no weight)
10 GH Sit-ups
10 Back Extensions
10 Push-ups (subbed for pull-ups)
10 Dips (bench dips, I guess..modified for the weak, lol)
2) Did my normal lifting FBWO
I like the CF warm-up, and think I will do that on my lifting days, at least.
Heffalump, I had no idea there were such things as "easy yoga poses". I'm pretty sure any kind of yoga would kick my inflexible behind.

I walked at a very brisk pace for an hour yesterday, plus I walked around shopping while I waited for a movie to start (I had like 2 hours to kill). So it was a little.
I didn't make it to the gym today yet I was so tired this morning, we had a light hail storm last night that kept me up! grrr.

Haa!
Seeing that I'm probably doing them all wrong because I only started this stuff a week ago... I probably shouldn't use that adjective either...
And speaking of - I just got my own inflexible behind kicked in 60 min. hatha yoga class. Hurts so good, though!
How's your soreness? Better I guess, since it doesn't seem to have put you off the Crossfit, heh...

I am trying to ride my bike to the train stop for work everyday, run at least 20 minutes every other day and throw in some weight training for 20 min twice a week.

Heffalump, my soreness is much better, thanks!
It hasn't put me off, I confess... today was my usual rest day, but since I took Saturday off already, I wanted to do something today...so, I did the Crossfit WOD today. I think I may be developing an addiction, here.
ETA: Lucky, welcome to 3FC, and to this thread. Your workout plan sounds great!

I walked Briskly for 1 hour (I drove the route and it is 4 miles). So I did that last night! Once again I missed the gym, but hopefully I can get into the swing again soon!

This am, I tried the Total Body Conditioning Class (shaping/sculpting) which I've been meaning to try. I had to take a couple of pauses/do alternate exercises, but I did make it through the class & to the class (which given its 6:45 am time & the fact that I'm not a morning person was an accomplishment in & of itself). The instructor was a substitute one. Too bad, because I really liked her approach. She kept checking on people to see if they were doing ok and suggesting alternate exercises as necessary. And personally, I found it very motivating when during a tough part of the class, she said something like, "come on you can do it, you're all going to look great in sleeveless tops!"
30 minutes on the elliptical & some sit ups on the exercise ball. I'm tempted to count inflating the one I bought for home as exercise too! The gym doesn't seem to have a lot of the 65 cm ones. Never again will not having access to one stop me from my ab work!

Good for you. Sounds like you had a great time. I do agree, instructors or anyone around us that gives encouragement and helps us find alternative exercises to do when we can't do the other ones is great. We feel good that we are doing the program.
Still
4 miles, wow that is a long way. You are going to have great legs lol. Hold that bellie button in while you walk. You might be surprised how much ab work you get while walking by doing that. Do you pump your arms while you are talking?
lucky
I have been told riding a bike is good exercise. What kind of weight training are you doing?
jam
What is there to say lol. You are a real go getter. Leslie Sansone has a real good video out, you can do yoga. She makes it real easy to follow. You might want to try it if you are interested in yoga.
just get it done
I have never used one of those but they look like a good workout. Are they hard to use?
manda
You are another one that uses that machine. Does it work all the body parts?
blz
Do you have a certain routine that you do for your weight workout?
ellip
You use the elliptical too. Looks like it is a popular workout.

Shy, I dont usually talk, I usually have my MP3 blasting so I dont even notice how far I have walked until I drive the route the next day or so. I just love to walk as long as my leg will allow....(I have a bad leg, knee, ankle, hip. So most anything that uses my leg is a struggle.)
