  • Hey all, I ran outside yesterday it was 12 degrees when I ran, WOW, was it cold!!! Thankfully I found my new favorite cold weather running top. It not only looks good on, it's 100% functional. It has the sleeves that fit down over the fingers with thumb holes, this is a great invention, It means no more wearing gloves. I couldn't believe how warm I was, the only thing I didn't think about while running was the weather. Now if only the temp would warm up a few degrees...
Running outside again today hoping to go farther...maybe 4/5 miles?
  • In refrence to finding the right running shoes....when you find the right shoes for you, if you can buy 2 pair. I learned this the hard way. I fell in love with my Nike Reax running shoes and as soon as I was about to hit the 300 mile mark on them I went in search of another pair only to find out that particular line (the exact ones I bought) were being discontinued, and were now extremly hard to find. I have found other Reax however, the construction is different and they are not as comfortable. I have since found another brand and style I like but I long for the old Nike Reax. Oh, by the way, my new shoes I buy in sets of two now. I also have a different style I use strictly for indoor running, be it the treadmill or indoor running loop.
  • Check E-bay. I wonder if there are any stores on there selling the old models.

  • Thank you, I've tried everything else, why are the common solutions the hardest to remember. You are a godsend,
I'll let you know..going there now...HOPING? HOPING? HOPING?
  • How are your indoor shoes different?? When Spring hits I'd like to run outside, but with all the mud, and what not i figured i'd kind of recycle my gym shoes from all winter to outside shoes, and get new gym shoes if that makes any sense...so what's the difference between indoor and outdoor lili???
  • Kristine612...The shoes I run outdoors in are NIke Reax, I love them and I love the way they feel...as for indoors I have Reebok's...they are the shoes I switched to when I discovered Nike discontinued my Reax...So I keep my favorites for outdoor race running because they are my favorite, most comfortable and I refuse to part with them (I have about 50 miles on the new ones), and my gym has a policy of "no outdoor shoes on the treadmills" so my treadmill shoes(indoor) have never seen pavement. I have found that I must buy 2 pair and I am constantly checking out new technology in running shoes and gear.
(Ok I love running shoes, its my obsession, hee hee)
