What is the best workout song ever???

What is your favorite workout song? The one that makes you move faster, jump higher, keep going??

for me, it is Demolition Man by Def Leppard.

Ok, I`m so typical, I know it, but it`s eye of the tiger!! Just like 5 million more people lol!:carrot:

And a guilty pleasure.. Crazy- Britney Spears

Iggy Pop/Lust for life... LOOVE that

Atypical answer, but "Good Morning Baltimore" from the Hairspray soundtrack.

It's really bad, but I like a remix of Britney Spears' Everytime. It always makes me want to run a little bit faster.

My gym music is completely atrocious. If anyone ever gets their hands on my mp3 player and decides to make judgments based on the stuff in my music folder, they'd probably have to stone me.

I think it is called Changes by Kelly Clarke

I think it is called Changes by Kelly Clarke. I hear it on a club mix stream through my pc. I start bopping the minute I hear it. Very upbeat!:carrot:

Depends on what kind of workout I'm doing, but, for spinning in my basement I like a really hard beat like Bleed it out by Linkin Park & Enter Sandman by Metallica. Always gets me spinning faster!

My favorite work out song is definitely "lose yourself" by Eminem. Though, I also like "fighter" by Christina Aguilera.

Right now, it's Please Don't Stop the Music by Rihanna. I just downloaded it the other day and I hit repeat several times every time it comes up on my iPod. :dancer:

Before that, it was Check on It by Destiny's Child (my RPMs on the eliptical are noticably faster when this song comes up on my iPod).

Rascal Flatts - Where You Are
It's nothing to do with running at all, but there are a few lyrics I like to apply to my running: "I'm a thirsty man", "You're a mountain top", "I can't believe how alive I feel", "All that I want is to be where you are." And it's got a great beat that pushes me a bit!

I downloaded software for my iTunes a while ago that calculates the BPM for all my songs, and then I made a playlist of music that has beats JUST slightly faster than my normal tempo. It definitely helped!

My favourite is "I Love Myself Today" - Bif Naked. It just reminds me why I'm in the gym in the first place.

Great idea! I found a website once that listed hundreds of songs by their bpm range. I should find it again.

Baffled - I am another one who would never let anyone see my iPod. Ever!

Check out www.beatunes.com for the software I used. It's shareware, meaning you have to pay after the initial trial period. However, I analyzed all my music in a day, and then uninstalled, and the BPM data stayed with the songs. You do lose the analysis of the "color" of the music though, but the software isn't that expensive if you wanted to buy it.
