Question Exercise routine question!

I'm just starting to get serious about losing my last few 15 pounds. But the problem is, I have no clue where to start exercise-wise! I'm changing how I eat. Eating lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains/wheat, cutting out the soda and junk food..But what kind of exercise plan is good? I already do a lot of cardio (Turbo Jam & TaeBo are my favorites) but I'm not sure how often I should do cardio a week..Or strength training..I also do lighter exercise like pilates, yoga, and using an exercise ball. I think my big problem is that I just decide what I feel like doing the day of, instead of having a set routine that my whole body gets a good workout. Lately it's just been cardio. I don't go to a gym, so all my workouts have to be done at home. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Even though I do both cardio and lift weights (although I do way more cardio) I really don't have a set routine myself. Like you I just do what I feel like doing and it's been working for me. Although I have heard you should do cardio 3 times a week and weight training at least twice.

You're smart to look for a plan. It sounds like you have your cardio well established. One home strength plan that dosent play games is the stuff by The Firm. They lead you through a series of workouts that work the upper & lower body using dumbells. Be warned, it's tuff! (But well worth it) The cool thing about weight training for women is that it won't bulk you up... it will sleek you out & bump up your metabolism a notch. Muscle burns a lot more calories than existing fat. Good luck & let us know how your'e doing!
