Default Ankles hurt

Like I said in my other post, I have joined a gym similar to curves, after the first week I find that my ankles hurt on the inside of my legs. I've been to other gyms before, and have taken spinning and step classes. There is no swelling or any change, but it hurts when I walk down stairs.

Not sure what the problem is, or if I just need to strengthen my ankles. If that is the problem can anyone recommend any exercises.
Thanks

Are you stretching at least 5 min before and after your work out? Maybe that's why your ankles are hurting. Or maybe your new exercise routine is working out muscles you haven't worked out before and now they are sore. Nevertheless, be sure to stretch hopefully it'll help your muscles from tightening.

I'm not really stretching before I work out, but this doesn't feel muscular, it feels like it is on the bone.
