Default Last Chance Workout?

I'm in WW and I wanted to know peoples thoughts on whether or not you should get in a last chance workout before you weigh-in. I dont weigh in until 7 pm and would like to workout sometime in the afternoon on the day of weigh in but I dont want it to affect my weight negatively. I have heard in the past that if you weigh in shortly after your work out you weight loss wouldnt be as great because of all the water you take in while you work out.

Anyway just looking for some advice.

Thanks

You know, I don't really know! I'm guessing maybe you're getting the "last chance workout" language from The Biggest Loser? They seem to really believe in it. But I've heard that your muscles can actually retain quite a bit of water following exercise as a way to repair themselves. Plus, like you said, you wouldn't want to be tempted not to drink water while you were working out just to see a difference in the scale.

Now, that all being said, if you exercised every week before your weigh-in for about the same amount of time and took in about the same amount of water, you'd probably be making close to the same impact each time.

Wel...i am a constant weigher. I will weigh in after i get home from the gym. I drink water while i workout and all the way home from the gym. Here's been my results....some times i weigh less and some time i weigh more. so...i wouldn't say that you can count on the same results everytime. just like one morning you may weigh less than yesterday and more the following morning. so...i'd say it doesn't really matter one way or the other. but that's just my opinion. i just say try to do the same thing every weigh in day.
