Wed I lifted weights--arm/shoulders and since it was SO gorgeous outside (a big change from the day before when it was SO hot!)--I didn't do any cardio at the gym, but took my dogs for a nice long walk instead. Was not feeling the gym today. Sar and I decided we'd go for a swim instead. We brought our rubber playground ball, with the intention of treading water and playing catch.
There was a posse of 3 kids under 10 in the pool - they asked to play - so we had an hour and a half game of VERY aggressive water volleyball. And MAN, it was a REALLY good workout! I tried not to put my feet on the ground at all. So 80 minutes of cardio in the pool, on a day when I didn't want to go to the gym! Yay me! |

I hurt my back last week around this time and haven't been able to exercise...or move, LOL!, But I started feeling better Wed and now I felt like I could ease back in, so today I did WATP-2 miles. :)

Sunday - headed out to go trail running, did run/walk intervals for the first half then it turned out the trail I picked got a lot steeper than I thought so ended up doing a lot of climbing the second half. 50 mins. total. I was tired!
