Helen, Congratulations on your one yr. maintainance. I only posted here because there are less posts than on the UK thread. I saw your new dress on your blog and your picture is really a boost to all of us who need to lose. I just started walking 5 to 6 mi. a day and I have been so sore. But your story is so encouraging.

I've been reading your thread and I want to join in for April. I recently moved into a "new" (105 years old) home and exercise has gone by the wayside while we paint inside and do yardwork on nice days. I'm ready to get into the walking/running groove. You all are doing great.

So near yet so far...
Just under 8 miles tonght to take me to 124.3/125. I'm guessing I'll manage that extra .7 before the end of the month! |

I'm past the target now. 4.4 miles this morning to take me to 128.7/125. I think that 150 is feasible before the end of the month, so I'll raise my target to that.

Goal - 50
Done - 50 Left - 0 Made my goal with a few days to spare. I'm sure I'll add to it, but not going to shoot for a new goal. |
A half marathon today, taking me to 141.8/150
|
Goal - 50
Done - 55 Left - 0 I've gotten in 2 runs since Saturday. I havent run in about 1 1/2 months. I'm definetly feeling it. Going slow, but 3 miles was comfortable. |
6.4 to take me to 148.1/150
At this rate I'll need to raise the target to 175. I've just realised that Saturday is still in March and I've got a 20+ miler planned... |
Goal - 50
Done - 60 Left - 0 A nice run in the mist this morning. |
7.5 today to take me to 155.5/150. I walked 3 miles straight before that, but I'm only counting running miles.
