The Gazelle

  • A girl I used to work with swore by this thing...She's about same age as me, had 2 kids, and lost about 20 pounds. I did it for an hour a day for months and lost zero.

Anyone else try this machine?? I'm no longer a fan...
  • I have one and I use it for a light Tv workout....but I just joined 24 hour fitness, I need to get a better workout than the gazelle can give me to get fit.
  • The gazelle gave me no resistance at all. Its folded up sitting in the shed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
  • Mine is also folded up in the garage. It's not as bad as other things I've tried but it does seem like a waste of my workout time. I know they claim to make your own resistance with your arms but that just doesn't work. I think I won't truly be happy until I spend thousands on a good elliptical.
  • I used to have a gazelle. Not the best piece of exercise equipment. I had better luck with a stationary bike. My gazelle eventually turned into a coat hanger lol.
  • i have one, used it in 2010 for a mnth and half lost 20lbs, but i also ate better as welll an di stayed on it for an hour, sometimes if the hsow is good for an hour an half, i also did alll the excerise in teh book on it for a minute at a time over an over an over lol
  • I bought one and sent it back. Didn't seem to have enough resistance or do anything special.
  • Love Mine
I got a Gazelle about a week and a half ago to help get me started in being more active, and so far it has. I cant say for sure if this will be a long term piece in my workout routine, but a treadmill was out of my price range and Im to lazy to go outside and walk...hopefully that will change over time lol. So for now I love mine and I can break a sweat on it easy. I think it just depends on your fitness level. My fitness level atm is like 0, before the Gazelle I hadn't worked out since who knows when lol.
