Supreme Pilates Machine

  • Hi there,
    I have seen the infomercial for this several times now. Does anyone have any experience with it?

    Any information would be helpful.
  • Hi g;

    I bought this about 2 years ago when it was first advertised (it must have been an error, I was charged a very low price, since then I've seen it sold for more). I'm happy to tell you that it is sturdy and well constructed.

    The only thing I found lacking were the amount of spring clips, I went to the local Home Depot and purchased extra's (about $1.50 each) so I wouldn't have to keep detaching and re-attaching the different springs. The springs are adequate, but I have seen stronger level versions on some Pilates sites for about $45.00 +S/h.

    the machine is heavy but will roll and fit under a bed....(where mine has been sitting---I need to put it out again, it's great to stretch in PM)

    hope this helps.
  • I just read this thread. I also have the supreme pilates apparatus which I love. But I would add to the earlier poster's comment about the spring clips. Since you're doing weight-bearing exercises with your legs elevated, etc., Supreme pilates SHOULD come with better, heavy-duty clips that SCREW CLOSED - like the stronger ones that come with the Total Gym. Supreme pilates is a great & convenient workout that I use 3 or 4 times a week, along with my other equipment: P90X & other DVDs, Urban rebounder, Total gym, Cardio cruiser, kettlebell & free weights. Good to be here on the boards. Hope this helps.
