Apple Cidar Vinegar, 2 T., in 8 ounces of cold water prior to each meal, preferably 3x day then as needed...

What do you guys think of Spiru-Tein. It is a soy protein drink that a friend of mine recommended a few years ago and when I drink it in skim milk it always makes me less hungry.

I've never used it but I think it's just a soy protein powder with a bunch of other stuff mixed in, like bee pollen, which IMO is useless anyway.

It's not an 'appetite suppressant' per se...unless you're comparing it to, say, a piece of fruit, an egg, or a piece of chicken - if you're hungry and you eat something nutritious, it WILL make you less hungry - after all, that's what folks have been doing for millenia as a cure for hunger - they EAT something. :carrot:

I've used Spiru-Tein as a protein drink, not as a weight loss aid. I like spirulina products from time to time and they seem to give me energy and make me feel better, but there's no getting around the fact that there have been a lot of problems associated with them as far as safety, so taking them at one's own risk is recommended ... and there's no real reason to believe the "energy" they seem to give me is real or the result of the spirulina.

I also think Spiru-Tein doesn't taste very good. :carrot:

Bee pollen can also be dangerous for people with allergies or who are senstive to it in some way.

IMO, bee pollen would be better left for the bees.
