Default cytomel only?

I was just given cytomel in place of syntroid. I am worried to begin taking it after reading this site and some books. It seems that most everything suggest that it should be taken in conjunction with syntroid or Armour. So I am holding off until I have the info needed. Is anyone out there just taking Cytomel? Please let me know. My tsh was normal but my t3 was a little low. I am still waiting on the results to be mailed to get the true #s. This is new for me and I am nervous that maybe my doc is not sure of how to administer the med. He is wonderful ,but this may be a new way for him.thanks

Default

I would call and ask my pharmacist. Mine has been invaluable when I have a question about a medicine.
