Default Ra-i

Greetings,

I was wondering if I was prescribed too much RA-I, because from what I've read, it takes from a few months to a whole year to become hypothyroid. I was prescribed RA-I recently and my thyroid function tests showed up horrible. I have a TSH of 150, a T4 of 0.05 and T3 < 0.05. I think it's too fast for that to happen. I talked to my doctor and he said it was 'normal' because of the dose he prescribed -then I talked to another endocrinologyst who told me 70 mCi of RA-I for hyperthyroidism treatment was just too much.

If there are people out there who were given RA-I, which quantity did your doctor put you on? I'm a bit worried.
