Candice- A friend of mine had gall bladder surgery a couple weeks ago. She said the test was uncomfortable but the surgery was nothing. She has 3 little spots where they went in . She said she feels great.. She was out and about within a week.Get it done and quit worring about it!
Mima- I go to Daytona the 28th of this month.. I do plan on having a good time. Ofcourse ,I always have a nice time when my daughter and I go somewhere together.
Meme- Pay no attention to stupid people... There are quiet a few around. Although ,I am supposed to be "retired" I am constantly busy. I get the same thing. People wishing they could stay hame and do nothing like me..Yeah! I can be so lucky..
My right arm and shoulder has been hurting for about 2 months or more. Now my arm is black and blue above the elbow for no reason. If it gets worse ,I am going to be forced to go to the Dr.I hate going to Dr's.
Hello Happy..Tammy.Hope you are having a great weekend.. My daughter is on her way to Norfolk,Va. The Truman is coming in and my G/son will be going home for a couple weeks. Back from his second tour outside Irag. He is getting out of the Navy in June . Thank the Good Lord.

Joanne, you do not have a blood clot do you? I don't like doc's ether but if you really need to you besure and get it looked at! Thanks for the info on your friend, my MIL told me not to have the HIDA test and not to get the surgery..she had a friend that got nicked in surgery and badley infected..but I do not think that happens often. I think she is just mad because her doc will not take hers out..she runs all week going to doc after doc to get medicine or surgery....she too has Fibro but won't acept that it is a lot of her symptoms....I just give up on her cause she whines all the time..a real pain in the butt and I do not need any more pain! She is the one that took over ther counter cough medicine with her HBP medicine and had a stroke a year ago! Not real smart is she!

Mima..how was the cookout..I planeted some flowers and then made some barley veggie soup..really good but it gives me gas due ttot he onions and mushrooms in it

I am leaning towards having the test done so I wont' have to see a new doc.....

Go for it Candice and look at the whole picture when you talk to people. Sounds like you did. Cookout was great-that Evan . He slaps his knees before he walks-too funny. And he says a lot of words-mostly beginning with b-like bacuum-vacuum -his favorite thing. Anything with a stick is a vacuum. Going to see Evita next week with Al and Jill, maybe other Grandma. Beautiful day! Took a walk around the yard with the dog. He loved it. Scoped out places where I need some flowers. Bob and Tim will have to plant them if I'm feeling bad, so I don't want too many. I thought I'd do some in pots that I can just put around in different places (beside the porch, bench, light pole, etc.) The tulips started blooming today. Gorgeous!! My dad would be so proud that they look so nice.

I still haven't gotten all of my papers graded, so I guess I should get busy before it's time to go to bed.

Hi ... more to do. Having a minister's breakfast at church tomorrow morning at 7:30 ... and guess who's helping??? Here we go again. But we have a new couple at church who own a restaurant that's doing the cooking and they only had one other person helping them. I couldn't leave them stranded like that. When I asked her about the plates, cups, coffee, etc. tonight she didn't have a clue. So I took her in the kitchen and we figured it all out ... and then ... silly me ... offered to help. She's a sweet person so I don't feel bad about it (I may change my mind come 5:30 in the morning and my alarm goes off!!!)

I told hubby I'll have to come home and go to bed after that! But I have some things to pick up in town and then I have to go over and do my MIL's hair at one because her church is in revival this week, too, and she's cooking for the ministers tomorrow night. Then it's back to church at 6:30. Never ends. Maybe I can get my BD off in May!

Sounds to me like you guys need to get to the doctor's! I know, I know. I put it off, too. I really hate to go to the doctor. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Sometimes the pain of the illness gets to the point that it's worse than the pain of the surgery. When that happens ... well ... you know ... it's down under! No choice. Either that or an attack of something worse.

Test went ok..see the doc Wed. on my 55th BD!!!!!!!!!! Gall bladder is the problem so we will see what the doc has to say.

Bought more flowers, came home and did some yard work , laundry and got some BD gifts ready for friends. Now I need sleep...bought 2 forty pounds bags of potting soil and manure...I lifted them out of the car...Ouch!!!!!!!! WE need rain bad...supposed to be here WED too.

I am getting so anxious but sad. Got a new prescrip from doc for the urethral thing but first warning is diarrhea and stomache pain-I will probably geta second opinion when I get home because I can't see myself taking an antibiotic everyday for the rest of my life. I can't imagine it's very hard surgery. One little pocket in my urethra! I guess I'll go over to the camper today and clean and put stuff away. 9 days til we leave. Bye for now Mima

I went and did something I said I would never do again.. I joined a spa. They have water exercise for arthritis.. As well as many more things for seniors.. My insurance will pay for it.I have Humana and they have a program called silver sneakers.. I'll see how it goes.. 3 times a week and I will walk the other days..
I worked out in the yard again. This time I not only have the sore arm ,although, it is not as painful lately,but now I have a rash from the weeds I was pulling. Maybe it will be gone tomorrow..The bruising is still there but as there is no swelling or heat I am just going to pretend it isn't there for now..Maybe it will go away too.
Mima..I hope they can get your health back in control.

Hi all-and Happy Birthday, Candice. Hope your doc visit goes well. Joanne-I used to do those exercises in that program-don't overdue it but it is nice. reason I can't is because of that stupid rib thing-I can't twist. But I swam and walked yesterday. Going to visit a friend this am-her mother got sick so she hasn't been able to be here-came to get their car but I will see their new house.
Funny story about my precoscious grandson. Mom gave him a bath and laid him on the floor to dress him-she went to get something and he was gone. Found him in the bathroom peeing in his potty chair, standing up. Don't know if he will do it again but he watches everything!! Then he asked for a diaper. They are getting their pool fence up as we speak. Have a good day all. Mima 8days and counting.

Candice - hope the Dr. will give you more info. so you can make the decision about your gallbladder. I would go with getting rid of it. You lifted 40 pounds of soil?????? Are you out of your mind, or what! Won't your hubby help you do that??? Just be careful or you know what will happen.

Tammy - Hope you are enjoying be outside. I plan to get out there today. It is going to be so nice and warm. A walk is in order, I believe.

Joanne - good for you, joining the spa. I used to do AquaAerobics faithfully twice a week, before this arthritis got really bad in the lower back. I went back and did it with the Seniors, but even that was too much of a strain. I would go a couple of times, and then not be able to go for weeks. I tried the deep water aquasize as well, but that was really hard with that darn vest thing on. They wouldn't let me do them WITHOUT it, so I had to quit, as the struggle to keep upright was just too much.

The picture on my signature is my grand daughter, Ashley. She is now 7 (april) and this was taken sometimes in October or November. She sure is growing up - FAST!!!!!

My first day for water exercise.Yes I am sore. I also walked 3 miles. I will do this 3 times a week and walk the other days. Maybe this will keep me over the edge when I can't control my temptations.
