Your doctor should be able to give you a diet that is suitable for your particular situation, or schedule you to meet with a nutritionist who can plan a diet for you. I believe it is best to avoid any food containing sugar, and limit starchy carbs, eating mostly high nutrition foods. You should test your blood sugar regularly. This will help you understand which foods are spiking your blood sugar too high, so you can avoid or limit those foods.
