Default Spicy diet+exercise=OUCH! Solutions/help needed

My diet (normal everyday diet) is composed of mainly spicy food, well because in my corner of the world that's normal. I've reduced the amount of spice I add to my food.
I decided to be working out in the evening, so that means that I still have some lunch in my system when I run.
I've also been having some reflux issue, given that I have such a bad metabolism and I lie on by bed the whole day.
My chest has been literally BURNING when I run! and I have hot belches as well. It makes my workouts disagreeable to say the least.
Does someone know about this? I'd use some help here.
I'm thinking of reflux control meds, but I also want to know if there's any other option for me.
