Default would this diet be ok for loosing some pounds?

Lets say every 3 days a week i do cardio for about 30 mins. and work out every 4 days a week
and this is what my diet would be

Morning 9:00 two toasts with peanut butter and orange juice ( for protein and nutrients)

afternoon 3 oclock bowl of noodles (for carbs)

5 oclock after workout and /or cardio
protein shake with a banana (for protein)

dinner
rice (for carbs)

my metabolism would be about 3000 a day. so would this be ok with working out and cardio? remeber the carbs and protein get burned. i think rigth?

Sounds like a LOT of carbs to me. And I don't see much in the way of veggies OR fiber. I do assume you also take at least a multi-vitamin.

Fiber is important in so many ways: it fills you up, it works as a scouring pad to clean out your innards, AND in the case of soluble fiber, it also controls the "bad" cholesterol in your body. Rice contains almost no fiber, and chances are your noodles are fiber free as well.

If you want to load up on the carbs for fuel, pack some veggies into your menu! If your diet contains sufficient carbs to burn on your activities, then protein will be reserved for tissue repair and building. Protein is only used for fuel if you are eating a low-carb diet, and then it provides a very inefficient source of energy, leaving waste material in the bloodstream which puts a burden on the kidneys.

Oh, and don't forget to drink LOTS of water!

Peace,

Doesn't sound like a good plan at all - way too many carbs. Needs veggies and protein, where's the dairy?
