Hi I am 34 years old and will be starting Sugar Busters this week. I am currently going through IVF procedures that all seem to fail. I was diagnoised with PCOS/Insulin Resistance in January and took 1500mg of Gloucophage a day and this diet was mentioned but I figured the drugs would do the trick. Well as I had my last failed beta on Friday I am back on the Gloucophage and will be following this to the "T". I saw there was another thread on PCOS but I guess I was wondering who was out there that is still currently TTC.

Hi Tiggerme,

I am one of your fellow PCOSers. I take glucophage and follow a relatively low carb diet. My husband and I haven't tried conceiving yet because I am currently being treated for Endometriosis as well.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time with conceiving. I hope that diet and glucophage help. I have recently started doing some light strength training again and have felt much better. I had heard somewhere that strength training can help alleviate some of the symptoms of PCOS. If you have time, and are physically able, you might try this and see if it helps. I guess I'm willing to try just about anything to try to make this easier.

It will be 14 months for me on SB this Tuesday. It's a wonderful WOE (way of eating) that I've had great success with. As of today, I'm 1 pound from goal
